Granthem
|
Appearance
You see Granthem. He appears to be a Human. He is taller than average and appears to be in the prime of life. He has imperious deep sea blue eyes and pale skin. He has short, sleek raven-hued hair. He has a smooth face and a thin nose. He is in good shape. He is wearing a tanned leather cloak, a tan mithril shield, a tanned leather backpack, a collarless ivory silk linen shirt cross-laced with leather cords, a scabbard, a pair of high-waisted dark twill pants with tapered cuffs, and some tall chestnut suede boots.
Background
In 5115, a man washed up near the Coastal Cliffs, going by the name of Granthem. He held little memories beyond spending some time working at Vornavian docks and then later on the ship that not was in ruin. Disturbing in all of this is the fact Granthem looks exactly like Grishom Stone, and many in town speculate he could very well be one of the flesh doppelganger golems Grishom had created, and perhaps still creates, to this day. Many avoid Granthem and others wish to help him until he proves unworthy otherwise.
After spending some time working at the Landing docks, and even running errands, Granthem now is working with Iron Jack, slowly picking up some skill at sword fighting in his off times, and has entertained a few discussions lately on the matters of magic, and perhaps seeking if he has any innate potential down that path. Most recently, Granthem has spoken of a woman who has caught his eye, Anabeth, a bar wench at Helga’s Tavern. While this in itself may be of little consequence, some have noted the woman has black hair and green eyes, exactly the same qualities Grishom Stone himself once looked for in all of his female victims in the past.
Loresong
Stormyrain says, "The debris has a story to tell." Stormyrain says, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. A large ship rises and falls along the sea's horizon as the waves shift amidst strong winds and a raging storm. Men scatter along the deck like ants, working tirelessly to keep their vessel afloat and in one piece as the storm churns towards them." Stormyrain says, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. You see a human male, with deep sea blue eyes and salt-stained clothes, he rushes across the deck of the ship as the boat lurches about, nearly turned around from the storm's winds. Commands are shouted left and right, and the loud snap of a mainmast echoes overhead." Stormyrain says, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. The sea blue-eyed man nearly stumbles as he hurries below deck, charging through a corridor and into the cargo hold, as shadows from the flickering light of lanterns dance about the area. He stands before a large wooden crate." Stormyrain says, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. The blue-eyed man takes a step towards the crate just as the side of the hold is torn open, wind and water rushing in to greet his panicked scream! The force of the ship's rupture turns over the wooden crate, where the lid pops open and two bodies roll out. The man pauses for a moment, when he notices they too have sea blue eyes, staring vacantly up at him. Darkness, and a wave of water engulf everyone, and everything." Stormyrain says, "That is all it has to say."
