Meeting Minutes
Date: Restday, the 25th of Olaesta, 5121
Note Taker: Arianiss
Attendees: Aethyra, Arianiss (council member), Dalinsia, Dayzed (council member), Jastalyn (council member), Jiarine, Kittai (council member), Kobane (council member), Satrn, Syllik, Teaberry, Trouthe
Primary Point of Discussion: the metal shortage
- iron is being bought out from all of the town merchants by a person, or persons, unknown
- this iron is being shipped east up the mountain to a location, or locations, unknown
- the Town Council are taking donations of metal slabs (iron, steel, silver, and gold primarily but any metal slab will be taken) to create a private reserve stockpile for emergencies
- various methods of donation are being explored, including a donation bin in Town Center, and for now Arianiss, Jastalyn, Roelon, Teaberry, and Trouthe are points of contact for offloading donated slabs (of note, storing the slabs in Fenog's Barracks was discussed but ultimately found later to not be an option)
- the airship was brought up as a last resort escape measure, were the town to be surrounded, and so there is interest in making sure there is material to repair it if needed
- it was also mentioned residents having emergency "get out of town now" kits (though as a general precaution and not as an expectation of trouble about to happen)
- Jiarine may, or may not, investigate acquiring metal from other towns (if we feel that route is needed to be explored)
- Lurrah was recommended as a co-ordinator for investigating and tracking the shipments as she has already expressed several ideas on this
- Arianiss gave "I'll deal with any issues this causes" permission to "gently" detain outgoing shipments for the purposes of gaining more information
- Arianiss stressed the importance of "gently" and that he is willing to offer silvers as compensation for any involved put off by being detained (this is fact finding only as those involved are likely just focused on doing the job they're being paid to do)
Secondary Points of Discussion:
- where are the taxes from town shops [OOC: player shops] going (Gespry through Arianiss)
- why is the snow-covered cottage on east road not open yet (Opalina through Arianiss)
- will Icemule be hosting another Faire of the North (Kittai)
- more guards are needed (12 total guards with rotating schedules and staggered breaks) (Teaberry)
Meeting Log
[Clovertooth, Council Chambers - 29538] Lit by a quartet of heavy silver candelabras, the chambers are a spacious, windowless stone den with lush tapestries hanging from the walls. The hangings muffle echoes in the chamber to a muted whisper. Spaced around a paneled hoarbeam table are a number of patterned leather chairs, each well-maintained. The sole means of egress from the chamber appears to be a pair of Ossian pine doors, each marked with a rampant mule in silver. You also see a massive midnight black panther and a tiny angular lilac-point kitten. Also here: Lightweaver Kobane who is sitting, Dalinsia, Teaberry, Trouthe who is sitting, Advisor of the North Kittai, Dayzed who is sitting Obvious exits: none You say, "So I have a few things on my list, but I suppose we need to start with the metal shortage going on as the pressing concern." Dayzed nods slowly. Trouthe asks, "Is any particular metal needed?" (Arianiss asks, glancing at Dalinsia, Teaberry, and Trouth, "Since we spend a lot of time inside working on paperwork.. do any of you have a strong understanding of what's going on?") Dalinsia furrows her brow. Grand Lady Jastalyn just came through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Jastalyn settles herself comfortably in one of the leather chairs. You beam happily at Jastalyn! Jastalyn smiles. Jastalyn softly says, "Apologies for lateness." The lilac-point kitten meows. Dalinsia shakes her head. A tiny angular lilac-point kitten slowly blinks her pale sapphire blue eyes before she arches her back in a full-body stretch. You listen carefully to Teaberry. You listen carefully to Trouthe. Jastalyn smiles. Trouthe asks, "Is any particular metal needed?" You say, "From what Roelon tells me, iron is the most needed." Trouthe says, "Ah, I can. probably make some slabs." The voice of Jiarine says, "Iron has been bought out, in silver, from all of the town merchants." Jiarine suddenly fades into view. You say, "Unless Teaberry has some thoughts, I think Darcena's explanation to you Dayzed makes you the most knowledgeable." Jiarine dusts herself off. You say, "Ahh, hello Jiarine." You grin at Jiarine. Dayzed nods to you. Dayzed deeply says, "I would suggest iron, steel, gold, and silver be the most sought." Dayzed deeply says, "The latter two as they are used to buy the former two." Jiarine suggests, "How about boxes aquired hunting that are of these metals be saved?" (Arianiss reaches into his cloak, struggling a moment, before somehow drawing out an iron slab and dropping it on the table with a loud CLUNK.) You remove a heavy slab of iron from in your twilight grey cloak. You drop a heavy slab of iron. Dalinsia glances appraisingly down. An iridescent jade shrike settles down contentedly on Kittai's shoulder, fluffing its feathers with a soft coo. A tiny angular lilac-point kitten licks one dark paw and delicately swipes it across her pink nose. You say, "I do want to create a private stockpile of our own just in case, while we figure out what's going." You say, "I think metal boxes is a good idea." You nod. Jastalyn whispers to the group, "Where shall we stockpile it?" Jastalyn whispers to the group, "Fenog's does have two containers in the barracks if need be." You nod at Jastalyn. Trouthe rummages through a pristine white polar bear fur cloak, pausing once in a while and then quickly resuming the search. You say, "We might be able to have a donation bin put somewhere too." You say, "For now I was just planning to carry them around myself." You glance at a heavy slab of iron. Mewing softly, the lilac-point kitten paces around the area with a tiny tinkling sound as the bell on her collar shifts. You say, "Roelon also agreed to help with the carrying." Trouthe gawks at you. Jastalyn softly says, "You can't just carry around a ton of iron. You'll get nothing else done." You grin. You say, "I have noticed." Trouthe says, "I have room for a few slabs in my locker." Jastalyn grins at you. You nod at Trouthe. Jastalyn softly says, "We can use, for now, the containers in Fenog's barracks." Teaberry says, "That's a good idea." Jastalyn softly says, "The barracks is just off of the pond area, I'll make sure it's unlocked after the meeting." Jastalyn grins at Teaberry. Kittai's panther tattoo seems to grow increasingly more restless as it mills about. Finally, it gathers itself and disappears into one of her climbing boots. Jastalyn softly says, "There are two, I'm not sure how much they hold, but they are open for you." Dayzed nods. A massive midnight black panther yawns widely and lashes his tail from side to side. Jastalyn softly says, "Teaberry can help folks find it if need be as well." Jastalyn grins at Teaberry. Jiarine asks, "Can iron be purchased from a merchant shop elsewhere?" Teaberry nods at Jastalyn. Jiarine says, "For forging." You say, "I don't know." You ask, "Do you want to look into that?" Jiarine says, "Not really." Kobane bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter. Dalinsia glances appraisingly at Jiarine. Dayzed deeply says, "Bronze, iron, steel, and invar are all sold commonly if I recall correctly." You nod at Dayzed. Dayzed deeply says, "Invar requiring a trip to the caverns of Zul Logoth." Jiarine says, "Then a donation could be set up to purchase iron from elsewhere." Dayzed nods at Jiarine. Trouthe says, "Easy enough to dig the ore and make slabs in the caves off the mine road." You say, "My biggest concern is that we won't have materials needed to repair defenses, or offenses, in a time of need.. thus I want to make this private stockpile." Jastalyn softly says, "Surely some folks have metal slabs stowed away as well." The lilac-point kitten pads around the room. Jiarine says, "As a start I would try to find how out how much raw material is required for normal upkeep." The lilac-point kitten gazes at Trouthe. Trouthe traces a sign while petitioning the spirits for cognition... There is a bright flash and a sugared barley and oat cake appears in the air, then falls into Trouthe's right hand. Teaberry asks, "Iron isn't found in any public forge shop, so far as I know. I think you have to make it in the kobold mines. Isn't that where the Consortium is starting a new mine?" Trouthe feeds a tiny angular lilac-point kitten a bite of her barley and oat cake. Speaking deeply to Teaberry, Dayzed says, "This is correct." Jiarine says, "If things go badly what can be left alone and what are the primary defenses that NEED to be repaired." Teaberry nods at Dayzed. You ask, "Does anyone know how many people can get aboard the airship? Is it even functional right now?" Speaking quietly to you, Kobane says, "No clue." The lilac-point kitten rubs up against Kobane. You say, "I would wager it may be a higher priority defensive measure as a source of evacation if we get surrounded." Kobane runs his hand across the head of a tiny angular lilac-point kitten and gives her a light scratch; the kitten butts his hand in response as if begging for more. Spying a piece of debris, the lilac-point kitten darts toward it and grasps it with her paws as she kicks relentlessly at it before she stands back up nonchalantly. Jiarine says, "Then I would also suggest to pass it along to the people within town to have a "get out of town now" bag packed." You nod at Jiarine. Dayzed laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement. Dayzed deeply says, "If that is what we've come to, we're already lost." Dayzed shakes his head. Jiarine says, "Thinking the worst never hurt." Trouthe feeds a tiny angular lilac-point kitten a bite of her barley and oat cake. Jastalyn softly says, "Let's stay positive." The lilac-point kitten lightly bumps Trouthe's leg with her head. Jastalyn smiles. Trouthe feeds a tiny angular lilac-point kitten a bite of her barley and oat cake. Trouthe pets a tiny angular lilac-point kitten, which nuzzles her hand softly. Jastalyn whispers to the group, "Are there any other talking points besides the metal?" Jiarine says, "That is staying positive rather than wasting time for everyone to flail about trying to grab everything." Dalinsia asks, "Do you expect this town to be overrun in the near future, then?" You whisper, "I have a couple." to your group. Dayzed whispers to the group, "Arianiss apparently has a couple other topics - I've nothing." Hissing almost soundlessly, a tiny angular lilac-point kitten's tail swishes back and forth restlessly as she crouches down as if ready to pounce. Speaking quietly to herself, Dalinsia murmurs, "Maybe I shouldn't stay here after all." Kobane looks over at Dalinsia and shakes his head. Teaberry says, "I would suggest checking with the airship's captain first. No point in planning an evacuation if the person piloting the evacuation isn't prepared for his role. But in the meanwhile, let's focus on winning. It's better to start at the top, I think. The bottom is very crowded." You whisper, "I was hoping there'd be more people here with some thoughts." to your group. Jastalyn whispers to the group, "Let's try to move past the naysayer." Speaking quietly to Dalinsia, Kobane says, "Nothin' we can't handle." The lilac-point kitten rubs up against Kobane. Teaberry nods at Kobane. Dalinsia glances appraisingly at Kobane. You ask, "So all we know is that someone, or ones, are buying up all the metal and shipping it up the mountain?" Squinting slightly, Kobane removes his blue-hued spectacles and gives them a good cleaning before replacing them on his nose. Jiarine says, "Yes." Teaberry says, "Amos, probably, to drive up the demand and then corner the market on supply." Jiarine says, "Likely the same person who uses multiple aliases." Trouthe asks, "Mt Aenatumgana?" Mewing softly, the lilac-point kitten paces around the area with a tiny tinkling sound as the bell on her collar shifts. Speaking to Teaberry, you say, "I was considering that hearing about his actions in Wehnimer's." The lilac-point kitten pads off. Jiarine gets a distant look in her eyes. Teaberry says, "It's an artificial loss, anyway. We can make more iron." Dayzed deeply says, "Indeed - and Amos need not iron when he just secured a supply of invar from Zul Logoth, last I heard." A swirling cloud of shadow forms around Jiarine's right hand as she prepares a spell... Jiarine gestures. The shadows around you twist and undulate towards each other until they converge into an inky pillar of darkness. Jiarine steps into the pillar of darkness. The pillar of darkness ripples for a moment as it separates into shadows that recede into the darkness from which they came. Teaberry nods at Dayzed. You say, "I know Lurrah has some ideas on tracking the shipments, and places to check." You say, "So I'd like to co-ordinate with her on that." A tiny angular lilac-point kitten pads in. The shadows around you twist and undulate towards each other until they converge into an inky pillar of darkness. Jiarine drags Syllik out of the pillar of darkness. The pillar of darkness ripples for a moment as it separates into shadows that recede into the darkness from which they came. The lilac-point kitten sits down, her tail curling to cover her front paws. You blink at Jiarine. Jiarine says, "Sorry to invade but I found a body." You glance at Syllik and immediately realize he has 9 spirit levels out of a maximum of 9, and is currently preserved for 536 seconds. You also notice that he has snapped bones and serious bleeding from the neck, a fractured and bleeding left arm, and minor cuts and bruises on his abdominal area. He is bleeding slightly from the left arm. He is also quite dead. Jiarine says, "Rather, Brat did." The lilac-point kitten seems to lose interest in its surroundings. The lilac-point kitten stands up. A shower of dancing twilight blue and silver sparks flare up from Jastalyn's blue diamond. Dayzed squints at Syllik. Mewing softly, the lilac-point kitten paces around the area with a tiny tinkling sound as the bell on her collar shifts. Trouthe raises a hand while murmuring a soft orison... Trouthe gestures at Syllik. Nothing happens. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "I was the first place winner of a quick death. the webbing was wonderful." Speaking quietly to a tiny angular lilac-point kitten, Kobane says, "Good work, Brat." Kobane pets a tiny angular lilac-point kitten, which nuzzles his hand softly. Trouthe begins to do her best to bandage Syllik's wounded left arm. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "I appreciate the rescue." Dalinsia stares at Syllik's lifeless body, apparently lost in thought. Speaking to Syllik, you ask, "Do you have any thoughts on the iron shortage we're experiencing?" You see Syllik. He appears to be a Dark Elf. He is average height. He appears to be very young. He has bright crystal green eyes and fair skin. He has short, thick white hair. He appears to be DEAD! He has a fractured and bleeding left arm, minor cuts and bruises on his abdominal area, and snapped bones and serious bleeding from the neck. He is holding a rune staff in his right hand. He is wearing some polished mithril leg greaves, a sorrel rat fur greatcloak, a snake-etched silver earcuff, a blackened silver filigree headband, a little round mirror, a small shield emblazoned with a golden key, a crystal amulet, a crimson rune-stitched backpack, a pair of narrow leather shoes, some flowing silk gauze pants, and a silk-lined red snakeskin tunic. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "It may be time to get a chrism." Jiarine snickers at you! Kobane bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter at you. Trouthe gobbles down her barley and oat cake in one enormous bite. Trouthe looks much more calm and refreshed. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "And No i dont. i left a lot of it in the field." Syllik gives a ghostly chuckle. Teaberry says, "I think I need to buy some chrisms." A tiny angular lilac-point kitten slowly blinks her pale sapphire blue eyes before she arches her back in a full-body stretch. Teaberry frowns. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "Along with my head it seems." You say, "Alright, hold on." You chuckle. Spying a piece of debris, the lilac-point kitten darts toward it and grasps it with her paws as she kicks relentlessly at it before she stands back up nonchalantly. You quietly whisper to Trouthe, "Do you want to raise him?" Aethyra just came through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Aethyra sits down next to you. You wave to Aethyra. Aethyra waves. Trouthe whispers, "Up to you." Jiarine removes a glowing black lor-buckled pouch from in her components bag. You quietly whisper to Trouthe, "Go for it!" Jiarine just opened a glowing black lor-buckled pouch. Jiarine removes a gong-shaped emerald from in her lor-buckled pouch. The lilac-point kitten sits down, her tail curling to cover her front paws. Jiarine offers Trouthe a gong-shaped emerald. Dayzed stands up. Jiarine just closed a glowing black lor-buckled pouch. Jiarine put a glowing black lor-buckled pouch in her leather rucksack. Dayzed deeply says, "Pardon me, but I must be off." Dayzed just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. A massive midnight black panther glances at a tiny scrap of discarded food and bats the morsel about with half-hearted interest before turning away in search of other pursuits. Trouthe asks, "You need healing first?" The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "Yes please." Trouthe asks, "Um any healers here?" Trouthe says, "I have a chrism if you need one." Jastalyn nods at Teaberry. Jastalyn gives Teaberry a friendly hug. The lilac-point kitten meows. Jastalyn smiles. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "Yes please." Suddenly you have the strangest feeling that you are being watched. The feeling fades as quickly as it came. Aethyra whispers, "Well that's not good! Did they sacrifice someone!?" Aethyra glances at Syllik. Jiarine put a gong-shaped emerald in her kidskin kit. Aethyra frets. Trouthe removes an illuminated gold prayerbook from in her white vest. You quietly whisper to Aethyra, "No, no sacrifices!" Suddenly you have the strangest feeling that you are being watched. The feeling fades as quickly as it came. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "Ill get some coin for your chrism if your open to trade." Aethyra whispers, "Who knows what goes on at these meetings!" Trouthe says, "Okay, lets find a healer first though." The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "When I can reach into my coin purse." A tiny angular lilac-point kitten slowly blinks her pale sapphire blue eyes before she arches her back in a full-body stretch. A delicate silver filigree pattern swirls briefly within a crescent-carved twilight blue diamond set against Jastalyn's forehead. You chuckle at Aethyra. A cloud of dense silvery fog suddenly appears. The fog quickly dissipates to reveal Satrn. Trouthe says, "That will probably interest folks in the meeting, too." Aethyra beams happily at Satrn! Trouthe beams! Trouthe exclaims, "Yay!" You chuckle at Trouthe. Satrn focuses on Syllik with intense concentration. Syllik's neck wound gradually fades, forming on Satrn's neck instead. Syllik's left arm wound gradually fades, forming on Satrn's left arm instead. Trouthe just opened an illuminated gold prayerbook. Syllik's abdomen wound gradually fades, forming on Satrn's abdomen instead. Syllik loses some of his pallor. Satrn begins to look better as the cuts on her abdomen close and the bruises fade. The scar on Satrn's abdomen glows faintly white before fading altogether. The ghostly voice of Syllik says, "I feel bad interrupting your meeting. I feel honored to be the center of attention." Satrn waves. Trouthe removes an oval-cut emerald from in her gold prayerbook. Speaking to Satrn, Aethyra says, "Wasn't me, I swear." Satrn stands up. Satrn begins to look a little better. Trouthe grins. Satrn tickles Aethyra as they grin at each other. Trouthe raises a hand while murmuring a soft orison... Grand Lady Satrn just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Trouthe gestures at Syllik. A silvery translucent thread extends from Trouthe encompassing Syllik's corpse. The lilac-point kitten cleans her coat carefully. Trouthe put an illuminated gold prayerbook in her white vest. Trouthe gingerly cracks and waves the emerald over Syllik's body, and a mixture of oil and balsam trickles out of the emerald, coating Syllik with a cobalt blue liquid. Trouthe raises a hand while murmuring a soft orison... Trouthe gestures at Syllik. Releasing all of the air from her body, Trouthe lets the last syllables of her chant fall from her lips and you watch her grow perfectly still. Narrowing the focus of her attention to Syllik's lifeless form, Trouthe shifts her stance and carefully lays her hand upon his forehead. Slowly, a deep blue nimbus begins to glow around Trouthe's body, and as she withdraws her hand from Syllik's forehead, you notice that the glowing light begins to seep into the dagger-shaped brand seared upon it. Moments later, Syllik draws breath and the brand upon his forehead disappears. Syllik seems slightly different. Wisps of crimson light materialize in your palms, slowly floating into the air and disappearing as you chant the phrase for Stun Relief... You gesture at Syllik. The glazed look leaves Syllik. Strands of translucent mana swirl about you, creating a protective barrier. Kittai gestures while calling upon the lesser spirits for aid... Kittai gestures at Trouthe. The glazed look leaves Trouthe. Swirls of mana slowly dissipate, releasing you from their protection. Trouthe smiles. Trouthe says, "Thank you." Syllik sits up. Syllik stands up. Trouthe traces a sign while petitioning the spirits for cognition... There is a bright flash and a sugared barley and oat cake appears in the air, then falls into Trouthe's right hand. Trouthe offers Syllik a sugared barley and oat cake. Trouthe says, "Mana cake." Kobane just left. Syllik accepts Trouthe's barley and oat cake. Syllik takes a bite of his barley and oat cake. Syllik looks much more calm and refreshed. Syllik says, "Thank you." Trouthe smiles at Syllik. Speaking to Syllik, Trouthe says, "You're welcome." Trouthe traces a sign while petitioning the spirits for cognition... There is a bright flash and a sugared barley and oat cake appears in the air, then falls into Trouthe's right hand. Syllik asks, "Who do i owe for the chrism?" Trouthe says, "Me." Trouthe takes a bite of her barley and oat cake. Syllik nods at Trouthe. Syllik says, "Ill be right back." You say, "Okay, so as it stands then before we move on..." Trouthe nods. Trouthe takes a bite of her barley and oat cake. Syllik just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Trouthe gobbles down her barley and oat cake in one enormous bite. A tiny angular lilac-point kitten slowly blinks her pale sapphire blue eyes before she arches her back in a full-body stretch. Trouthe pets a tiny angular lilac-point kitten, which nuzzles her hand softly. Syllik just came through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Syllik offers Trouthe an Icemule promissory note. Syllik takes a bite of his barley and oat cake. Trouthe accepts Syllik's promissory note. Syllik bows to Trouthe. You say, "We're going to collect metal slabs and boxes. Try to focus on the boxes that are primarily metal, not just metal adorned. I don't want to just dump a pile of little pieces that need to be melted first. Or maybe that's fine, I don't know. I'm not a forger." Trouthe put an Icemule promissory note in her fur cloak. An amber-eyed snowy owl flexes its talons on Jastalyn's shoulder, ruffling its feathers as it swivels its head about intently. Syllik just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. You say, "Roelon, Trouthe, and I can physically carry them. Teaberry and Jastalyn have the barracks available to save our backs." Trouthe checks her equipment, adjusting and rearranging her gear. Teaberry says, "Plus I can zap up disks to help carry them. Not the biggest disks, but something." You say, "Jiarine is going to look into acquiring metal from another town if we might need it..." Trouthe removes a sturdy monir chest from in her veniom-threaded backpack. Trouthe frowns at a sturdy monir chest. You nod at Teaberry. Trouthe carefully examines her monir chest. Trouthe gawks at a sturdy monir chest. Jiarine says, "I never said I would." Trouthe says, "No wonder I was moving slow." Jiarine says, "I merely suggested it." Trouthe put a sturdy monir chest in her fur cloak. Speaking happily to Jiarine, you exclaim, "Thank you for volunteering!" Teaberry glances at Jiarine. Aethyra grins. Jiarine skeptically says, "... Right." Jiarine's blood red ruby, which is set against her forehead, dims and then suddenly brightens again as silver sparks swirl within the gem. You say, "I'll check with Lurrah to see her thoughts on more aggressively figuring out what's going on." You say, "I give everyone permission to, gently, detain any outgoing shipments. The goal is information, not combat." You say, "I'm willing to pay them some silver to make it worth their time if they truly balk at it." You say, "..and if they still do, just let them go. They're likely just doing the job they're being paid to do, nothing else." A massive midnight black panther licks his nose and yawns, displaying sharp white canines. Jastalyn softly says, "I'm afraid it's too near our dinner time and I have to run." Jastalyn smiles. Jastalyn chants softly, the words of the prayer indistinguishable, until her image is overlaid by the illusion of a young woman with azure eyes. Both fade and disappear from view, as the residual sound of hoofbeats tapers off. The lilac-point kitten gazes with interest at a heavy slab of iron. You say, "Okay, so I have two more things on my list.." Trouthe turns an inquisitive ear toward you. You say, "The taxes everyone pays to their shops here in town... where is that going." You steeple your fingers in your lap, quietly observing your surroundings. You ask, "..and that snow-covered cottage on the east road.. will it ever open?" You say, "I know these aren't necessarily questions we can answer ourselves, but I think they're importan questions the Mayor can look into." You ask, "..and so on that note, do any of you have anything for the list?" Aethyra leans forward and rests her chin in her hand, a thoughtful expression on her face. Dalinsia folds her arms over her leather bodice and sighs gustily. Trouthe looks over at you and shakes her head. You nod. Kittai says, "Doesn't look like it." Kittai chuckles. You grin. You listen carefully to Kittai. Speaking to Kittai, you ask, "Do you have anything to discuss?" Kittai says, "I've nothing of import this minute. Lots of new faces about though. Made me think about the Faire a bit. We still never found out if that would be able to be a recurring thing this year." You nod at Kittai. You ask, "Something for the list?" Kittai says, "Oh it can go on there as a point of consideration I suppose." Kittai says, "It doesn't hurt anything." You nod at Kittai. Kittai shrugs. Kittai says, "Doesn't mean the other things aren't higher priority." Jiarine says, "Excuse me." Jiarine just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. The lilac-point kitten stands up. The lilac-point kitten pads off. Teaberry says, "I think we need more guards for a rotational schedule." You nod at Teaberry. Kittai adopts an agreeable expression. You say, "I agree with that too." Teaberry says, "Eight more." You say, "..and a staggered schedule too." Speaking to Teaberry, Trouthe asks, "Three shifts then?" Teaberry nods at Trouthe. You say, "Or at least a staggered break schedule." Trouthe says, "Might be more revenue for the show in the pub too, if they have more time off." Teaberry says, "Two guards per gate, so that if one goes off, there's a possibility that one can stay behind and guard it." Several of the darkened leaves on Kittai's ebonwood armband slowly bend across the wood until their vein-spliced surfaces come to rest against her skin. You nod at Teaberry. You ask, "Does anyone have anything else they think is worth mentioning?" Aethyra shakes her head. Aethyra's cheeks flush with a soft shade of apricot. You glance between Dalinsia and Trouthe. Tucking her arms beneath the folds of her hunter tartan arisaid, Dalinsia hides her hands beneath the folds of her hunter tartan arisaid. Trouthe blinks at you. You listen carefully to Kittai. You ask, "Anyone? Anything?" You grin. Trouthe grins. You say, "If not.. then I think that concludes the meeting." Trouthe applauds you. Kittai adopts an agreeable expression. Trouthe stands up. Placing her left hand upon her leather bodice, Dalinsia bows and draws the skirts of her hunter tartan arisaid away from her body with the other hand. You say, "I made a few mental notes and I'll get those submitted over to the Mayor, and then made available for the public to see." Dalinsia just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Teaberry says, "Off to the mines." You nod at Teaberry. Trouthe says, "Thanks for puttting the meeting together." Teaberry waves. Trouthe waves to Teaberry. You exclaim, "Thank you everyone attending!" Trouthe exclaims, "Off on a troll hunt!" Trouthe waves. Teaberry just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. Aethyra stands up. Trouthe just went through a pair of Ossian pine doors. You stand back up. Aethyra says, "That was a very quiet, well-mannered meeting." Aethyra says, "Except for the sacrifice." You say, "They have been quiet lately." You gently take hold of Aethyra's hand. You chuckle at Aethyra. Aethyra grins. You pick up a heavy slab of iron. You grunt. You put a heavy slab of iron in your twilight grey cloak. go doors Aethyra and Kittai followed.
