You analyze your yew arcus and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
Welcome to Kraet Style, the Bow Edition.
Arcus: The arcus is a recurve composite bow, typically made of locally sourced wood on the Isle of Kraet with sinew and horn coming from any variety of fauna found on the isle or taken from elsewhere. In addition, there is a unique custom amongst the Kraet to occasionally utilize sinew from fallen gladiators when the individual had wished it; it is seen as a way to carry on and assist in their people's victories.
Now that you know a little bit about your yew arcus and its history, here are some useful tips for using it.
The arcus is verbose in its movements in your hand, meaning you'll want to have STANCE VERBOSE active when using it. It also has access the the following verbs:
Pull, Push, Rub, Lean
Alteration Instructions: The arcus must maintain its noun and conform to the spirit of its design as outlined above.
You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the yew arcus for you.

Stepping back, you draw your arcus close as you scan the area for danger.

You raise your arcus as you hook your thumb about the bowstring. Pulling back, you test the tension and strength before lowering the weapon to your side.
