To the Argent Mirror:

Your Majesty,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I write to offer my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Lady Malwind. She was a joy to work alongside for the short time that we had her in our ranks, and will be greatly missed.

At the same time, I would like to tender my resignation from my position as handmaiden. The loss of our comrade has left a deep impact on me, and I have been struggling to fulfill my duties to the best of my abilities. Additionally, my parents have expressed their concerns for my current safety and well-being, and they feel it is best for me to step down from my role at the palace for the moment.

I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have gained during my time serving as a handmaiden, and I will always be a loyal subject to the crown. I am ready to assist in any way I can, and I hope you understand my decision to resign.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support the palace during this difficult time.
