Leafiara/Tales/Money Money Money
Original Story: Eorgaen 2, 5118
"Looking for something to do, Leafiara? I've got just the thing for you. If you want to know more, simply ask me about BOUNTIES."
Leafi nodded eagerly to Malcrith. "Some of the usual if ya would! Anything but an escort! I gotta steal from the rich and give to the poor," she quipped. "If the rich are those crazies in the Sanctum and the poor are the crazies in the Landing, or if the rich are the outlaws in Vornavis and the poor are the in-laws in the Landing."
Malcrith raised an eyebrow.
"Er, not in-laws in that way, but--" she trailed off. "Never mind! I'm saying I need money--lots and lots and lots of money," she said, her voice jumpy with excitement, "and I'll kill ten thousand bandits or Luukosians or freakish undead abominations to get it."
Like you're the only one who can climb over a pile of bodies, Thadston...
Malcrith shrugged, selected a paper from the bulletin board, and handed it to her. She curtsied quickly and turned even more quickly, a bandit-hunting contract in her hand and a sparkle in her eyes.
Preparations for Raznel might have been easier if the Rooks had ever let me in... Leafi grinned slowly. But it doesn't matter. I love a challenge.
