A parchment delivered to the chapel on Luinne Bheinn:

Dear Dikirk,

I hope the beginnings of spring find you well. I write because the reiver clan of the Ember Vale led by Warchief Haidan has taken up arms and declared war against the settlers of the Barony of Darkstone. They have killed several shepherds recently in order to deprive the settlement of its livestock.

An emissary from the imperial settlement has asked to meet with you and offered to do so in a place of your choosing for your safety. He would like to discuss continued peace between the encampment and the clan at Luinne Bheinn. Please let us know if you agree to this request, and we will work to arrange a meeting between you.
