| The walnut-paneled walls of the wool-curtained shop are decorated in framed parchment recipe cards, the black-inked calligraphy flanked by herb-carved racks painted in shades of green and sepia. Fragrant spice-filled jars are interspersed across the oiled wooden counters, each parchment-labeled container displayed on one of the stacks of leathery cook books.
