Obsidian Raiment

Lengths of dark plum brocade are suspended from thin, dark wooden beams, creating elegant walls for the large pavilion. A hexagonal crystal lantern hangs from a thin metal chain in each corner of the area. Woven flax mats threaded with pale grey hues cushion the floor. Filling the shop are racks and stands displaying a wide variety of items.

On the rack you see: a lightweight pale flax szi'euk edged with tiny jet beads, a long ebon linen szi'euk painted with tiny whorls, a braid-edged light cotton szi'bai with obsidian beading, and a layered indigo lacebark szi'bai edged with silver cording.

Brocade rugs in shades of ebon, grey, and plum are centered on the floor covering the hard ground and giving a soft cushion for walking. Stands and racks holding a wide variety of items are arranged against one wall. Hanging from dark bronze chains are a trio of crystal lanterns that are positioned over a small ebonwood table.
