Title: Call to Arms

Author: Randsford (prime)

A figure all clad in white solemnly walks into Icemule Town Center and approaches the message post. He carries with him a single budding white rose in one hand and a rolled up parchment in the other.

He glances around to see the many individuals passing through the center, some familiar some foreign. His gaze hesitantly looks to the rose in his hand before reciting a quiet prayer, "Goddess I beseech you to guide Icemule in the coming darkness we will soon embrace, let your love be the light to guide us. Though some of the good people of Icemule may have lost faith in you, I have not."

He stares intently at his rose for any signs, but the rose remains closed. The giantman speaks to his rose, "At least you did not wither, this time, so I'll take that as your approval." He kneels to set the rose at the base of the post and rises.

The figure carefully unravels his parchment and removes his spikestar from its sheath. He raises the ruby-hued handle and in a single strike pins the parchment to the post, he then turns around and walks away to begin a patrol. It reads:

CALL TO ARMS!

The newly, unamed, and growing nation of the free north calls upon any and all willing defenders to answer the call to retake Crystalhall! Isvindar, the Ice Giant of the Black Cairns Clan, calls upon our aid to quell the evil that has been sealed within. A great darkness lies beyond the sealed doors that must be defeated if our new nation is to unite the scattered giant clans under our single unified banner.

Much of what we face is unknown to us except for this, "the evil is bound to the very stones of the hall." Know this simple warning, nothing that did not enter with us is to leave! Any glimmering gem, stone, or even pebble removed could very well allow the evil sealed within to escape. Heed this warning well and avoid the taint that could be spread.

Be on the lookout for Icemule Town Council instructions to discuss our plans and our course of action.
