Sensati is an elven warrior from Ta'Vaalor. According to family legend, the two founding members of her family were an elven Lord of a small domain known for his exploits (or predations depending on who's telling the tale) in human lands - especially his razing to the ground of a walled human town that dared charge him a gate fee - and an amazon known as Lorelle who was one of the original followers of Leya.

These two redoubtable individuals shaped the self-image of the noble family they instituted which, in turn, helped frame Sensati's personality. Sentati's family has a strong sense of their own identity and resolutely refuses to fall into any defined roles. While the family dutifully follows the martial strictures of Ta'Vaalor to the letter they are also hedonistic and even bohemian. While the family is aristocratic it holds the values of nobless oblige and duty above insisting on its noble prerogatives.

Striving to be what, in their mind, they view as pure a warrior as possible they eschew the use of magic, the participation in the various Orders, and deign to join only the warrior's guild. Being, as they are, proud Ta'Vaalorian aristocrats neither Sensati nor any of her family has ever been a member of the adventurer's guild since that would entail them working for someone.

Sensati married Jornaal, a dark elven wizard of some small renown (causing a bit of scandal in her Sept) while on a cruise aboard the Wavedancer but, with his untimely death, went into an extended period of mourning and is currently semi-retired. She now spends her time mostly sunbathing at her private beach or entertaining the infrequent guest at the bar in her villa on Mist Harbor. She ventures forth from her solitude on occasion when whim, fancy, or mood strikes her.
