Shanked was a short storyline that ran in Solhaven in 2022. It followed the local merchant Duvernith trying to locate a once-famous vineyard in the region, which had at one time produced a legendary 5001 Vornavian Red. Duvernith had a mind to find the vineyard and somehow acquire the deed in a scheme to get rich off of its legendary grapes. The vineyard was eventually located, and the cause of its being forgotten was revealed: the local shan population had moved into the vineyard some years before and now considered it part of their hunting grounds. It concluded with the Forgotten Vineyard's release as a hunting zone in the 58-66 level range.
This storyline was conducted by GM Meraki and GM Lydil.
Summary
On 5/18, Duvernith talks about a famous wine, the 5001 Vornavian Red, with the locals.
On 5/20, Duvernith is assaulted by an unknown figure.
On 5/21, undeterred by the assault the previous day, Duvernith leads a group to explore where he believes the legendary vineyard is. The only problem is that shan have moved in and this is now their home. The new hunting area opens.
On 5/26, Duvernith receives a mysterious letter referencing the legendary wine and his failure to obtain it.
