Solace of the Seaborne

[Solace of the Seaborne, West]
Some layered walls of wavy glass cast colorful silhouettes across the pale sand, the etched surfaces projecting rays of calligraphy across the changing tides. Garlands of anemones and sea buckthorn drape over a quartet of carved stone founts. The water's surface alights with tiny votives floating between strips of parchment scrawled with long-forgotten names. Carved into whimsical sea creatures, myriad charms adorn the driftwood benches sitting half-buried within the sand. You also see a blush clamshell arch, a small white basket of blue roses and a small woven bin of blue pansies.
Obvious paths: northeast, east, southeast

Bench:

Various charms bedeck the benches, strung on twine from the organic lines of the driftwood backs. The small soapstone figures depict seahorses, starfish, octopuses, sharks, fish, and other assorted sea creatures.

Wall:

Reminiscent of a sea frozen in time, each consecutive layer of sea glass deepens the ocean blue hues of the walls. Countless names are etched into the fused surface, the flowing elven calligraphy undulating with the sinuous waves. A silver plaque stands at the point in which the walls converge.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Elven language, it reads:

A swelling wave breaks,
then crashes to the shore.
The sea, She calls it home,
to recede forevermore.
[Solace of the Seaborne, North]
Umbrageous trees watch over the glistening sands spread over the area, the rustling leaves echoing against the glass-forged hourglass set within a ring of muted sea glass. A sturdy frame of driftwood holds the sculpture aloft while small clockwork gears slowly rotate as the fine grains fill the bottom chamber, the granules tinted the vivid colors of the sea. Several narrow marble benches surround the hourglass, the names carved upon the seats faded by both time and nature.
Obvious exits: southeast, south, southwest

Hourglass:

Fine-grained sand funnels through the narrow center of the hourglass, amassing in the bottom chamber in an ever-growing heap of ocean blue and seafoam green grains. Slowly turning gears assist in flipping the hourglass when the top chamber empties. A silver plaque is affixed to the driftwood frame.

Bench:

Deeply carved names, the edges worn from age, interrupt the smooth surface of the white marble bench. Mist grey veins run through the stone, sparsely limned in glittering mica.
[Solace of the Seaborne, East]
Dozens of windchimes hang from the splayed branches of the tall, foliage-bare trees, the murals upon their carved trunks faded by the elements. Sporadic melodies rise from the hollowed lengths of bamboo, sea glass discs, and aged brass bells as the occasional breeze ripples the surface of the nearby pond. Stitched with symbols of the Great Houses, silken banners hang from gnarled driftwood poles buried alongside thin benches offering places to rest and reminisce.
Obvious paths: southwest, west, northwest

Windchimes:

The windchimes hang at varying heights from the branches of the foliage-bare trees. Each is uniquely constructed from combinations of time-tarnished brass bells, bamboo tubes, and discs of seaglass in an assortment of blue and green hues.

Trees:

Their hues muted by time, oceanic murals of ships and cliffside cities bring a colorful dimension to the intricately carved trunks of the foliage-bare trees. Some bamboo and seaglass windchimes dangling aged brass bells hang from the branches, swaying gently in the breeze over a silver plaque.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Elven language, it reads:

Guiding gusts fill the sails,
Leads me o'er churning sea,
Where I search for thee.

Briny breeze swirls around,
Brushing over hair and flesh,
A lost but familiar caress.

Whispers carry on the wind,
A hushed voice in my ears,
Alleviating any fears.

Guiding gusts fill the sails,
Leads me o'er churning sea,
Where you comfort me.

Bench:

Thin bamboo planks form the seats for the benches, supported by frames curved to emulate stylized curls of wind.
[Solace of the Seaborne, South]
A circle of sandstone benches surrounds an imposing sculpture of natural fulgurite, its base buried deep into the mottled dark sands beneath it. Square-caged lanterns radiate from the fractal form towards tall posts of blackened iron, diminutive lightning bugs casting greenish gold sparks against the cloud-etched glass as they slip in and out of the receptacles. The faint scent of ozone and sea rosemary fills the air, followed by a tinge of earthiness.
Obvious paths: north, northeast, northwest

Bench:

Striated in tans and pinks with touches of reddish brown, the sandstone benches are designed with clean lines that contrast the controlled chaos of the fulgurite sculpture they encircle.

Sculpture:

Evocative of a massive coral structure, the nature-crafted sculpture branches out in angular fractals of fossilized lightning. The fused, powder white sand glitters with crystalline glass in the ambient light. A silver plaque stands before the imposing form.

In the Elven language, it reads:

Blackened by salty tears,
heavy and threatening,
skies flash and flicker;
the light is unsustainable,
unrivaled by a griefless soul.

Cracks shatter the silence,
anguished rumbles roll,
reverberating in the bones.
Uneasy quiet looms,
awaiting the next jolt.

Pathways of crushed sea shells converge towards the alabaster-carved longboat raised within the center of the area, covered in dozens of muted sapphire candles flickering amongst dried white sea roses. Natural driftwood benches sit beneath sunbleached linen canopies, the embroidered bolts of fabric tightly knotted to the silver-banded posts placed outside the circle. Veiled in a layer of pale sand, small mementos and lush bouquets lean against the sandstone slab elevating the vessel. You also see a large piece of embroidery stretched over a mistwood frame.
Obvious paths: north, east, south, west

Longboat:

Set upon a striated sandstone slab, the longboat is carved from translucent alabaster marbled with semiopaque inclusions. Curling posts rise at either end, sculpted into the image of cresting waves. The hull is incised with straight lines to emulate planks, while bas relief shields with varying designs adorn the sides. Flicking sapphire candles fill the vessel, bathing it in a warm, fiery glow. A silver plaque stands admist a profusion of trinkets and flowers.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Elven language, it reads:

Say goodbye to the depths, the loneliest of places,
Where darkness preys,
And only the sailor understands her cold embraces.
Beyond the sun's rays,
Say farewell to the light, from it turn our faces.
Begin your vacant gaze,
And let us remember you in all your graces.

On the alabaster longboat:
Forageables [15]: a pale-veined deep blue asuleriel (10), a yellow-cored dark blue elaieneria (4), a pale gold linden flower
Clothing [2]: a loosely woven circlet of silver horsehair and mournbloom, a densely woven garland of mournbloom and long-stemmed azure blue roses
Special [1]: a compact bronze-mounted painting adorned at each corner with verdigris peacocks
Total items: 18

Painting:

Painted amid a haze of smoky smalt is the portrait of a young elven woman. Her upswept ears and pale green eyes are brilliant compared to the relatively muted background. Gazing out slightly left of center, fresh and rosy cheeks adorn her fair oval-shaped face, while a highlight just above her lapis-wrapped decolette gives the appearance of youthfulness. Crowning the woman's brow are voluminous braids in titian-tinged copper, drawing the focal point away from a splash of coral upon her even lips.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Common language, it reads:
"Cobalt Salon: Lady Sayilla" -- by Ysaeril Illistim

Bench:

Left in their natural state, organically shaped pieces of driftwood form backless benches around the alabaster longboat.

Embroidery:

Dark blue silk is stretched upon a frame of mistwood. Colorful embroidery covers the surface, depicting various scenes. Several show a small girl surrounded by flowers and doves. The image of the gates of Ta'Illistim covers a lower corner. One panel features a large ship on the ocean, while another displays tall trees in a snowy setting. Centered within is a large alabaster peacock bordered by a series of elegantly silver curved blades.
