Gem bags, alternately known as gem pouches, offer a few verbs for when they are empty or full. Like Super Secure Gem Pouches, they can only hold gems.

Analyze

You analyze your canvas gem pouch and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun."

The creator has also provided the following information:
You sense that the pouch can be altered.  It must remain a "gem pouch," "gem purse," or something very similar.  There are some aspects, such as the velvet-lined compartments, that cannot be changed, no matter how talented a merchant is.

You can try to PUT <item> IN, WEAR, REMOVE, LOOK, SHOW, OPEN, CLOSE, COVER, TOUCH, and TAP the pouch.

Usage

CLOSE You pull the drawstrings of your canvas gem pouch until they are tight, then carefully tie them together. XXX pulls the drawstrings of her canvas gem pouch until they are tight, then carefully ties them together.
COVER You reach down with both hands and protectively cover your narrow gem bag. XXX reaches down with both hands and protectively covers her narrow gem bag.
OPEN You carefully untie the drawstrings of your canvas gem pouch. XXX carefully unties the drawstrings of her canvas gem pouch.
REMOVE 1 or fewer gems You reach down and carefully untie your canvas gem pouch from your belt. XXX reaches down and carefully unties her canvas gem pouch from her belt.
2 or more gems You reach down and carefully untie your canvas gem pouch from your belt. You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside. XXX reaches down and carefully unties her canvas gem pouch from her belt. You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside.
TAP Empty . You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside. XXX taps a dark canvas gem pouch. You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside.
1 or fewer gems You tap a dark canvas gem pouch. XXX taps a dark canvas gem pouch.
TOUCH You place one hand on your canvas gem pouch, making sure it is still attached to your belt. Almost absentmindedly, XXX places one hand on her canvas gem pouch, making sure that it is still attached to her belt.
WEAR 1 or fewer gems You reach down and carefully tie your canvas gem pouch to your belt. XXX reaches down and carefully ties her canvas gem pouch to her belt.
2 or more gems You reach down and carefully tie your canvas gem pouch to your belt. You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside. XXX reaches down and carefully ties her canvas gem pouch to her belt. You hear the tinkling sound of several gems bouncing around inside.

Additional Information

Unlike other gem pouches, you cannot use the EMPTY verb to transfer gems. You can, however, empty from it.

You cannot empty items into the bag.

Show

The SHOW includes a the item that the bag is attached to. This isn't typically included as a part of the standard usage for SHOW:

XXX shows you a felt-lined narrow gem bag, which she is wearing attached to a knotted crimson sash.  The interior of this narrow gem bag is divided into tiny velvet-lined compartments, each approximately the size of a small gem.  The bag is currently open, and brilliant sparkles of reflected light dance across its contents.
