Post-Exhibit Visit with Tiwlip

This is a log of the meeting with Tiwlip and other sylvankind after the events at the Museum. It is from the perspective of Fehala.

Loge Note: As there were only a handful present, this is a minimally edited log. I corrected some of Aihan's typos, but I think that's it. This does talk of things that are coming up, and could be a spoiler if you wanted to learn about them in-character. Attendants were Aihan, Kelfyr, Meril, Fehala, Sylthie, Toshley, Felarion, and Shaelethe.

[Fehala arrives a bit late, taking a moment to simmer down her rage.]

[The Sleeping Wood, Gardens - 22386] (u13125088)

A blanket of thick grass stretches outward, cradling the multitude of nocturnal blooms

nestled deeply within the rich soil. Shafts of moonlight create sparkles within the mist

dancing among the trunks of tall expansive trees, and the branches rustle with the cool

night breeze. Tucked to the outskirts, a few moss-laden benches provide seating for

visitors beneath the starlit skies. A narrow cobblestone walkway leads north and out of the

garden, while a natural trail ventures further within. You also see a grizzled porcupine, a

lively wood spirit that is fying around and a pale blonde oak sign.

Also here: Aihan, Kelfyr, Tiwlip who is sitting, Meril who is sitting

Obvious paths: northeast, northwest

Meril says, in Sylvankind, "A hierophant might say that all that happens has been foreseen,

and these are the perfect circumstances for us to be here at this moment."

You say, in Sylvankind, "They might say that. Or, something entirely diferent."

Meril says, in Sylvankind, "Well then, I suppose we may agree we cannot speak for them."

You adopt an agreeable expression.

Tiwlip nods.

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "Have those who call us their kin truly fallen so far? That

was an outrage, a desecration. Regardless of their excuses about their respect for our

ways, that was not. At. All."

Sylthie softly says, in Sylvankind, "Greetings, all."

Felarion's group just wandered down a narrow cobblestone walkway.

Meril ponders.

You say, in Sylvankind, "Respectful by their ways-- I do believe they tried, as much as their

ink-blinded eyes would allow them to see." She's adamant in her heartbreak and disgust,

"It was wrong. All wrong."

Toshley just arrived.

Toshley smiles.

Tiwlip raises a hand, asking for the foor.

Aihan nods to you.

Aihan turns to face Tiwlip.

You walk over and drop slowly to your knees among the thick grass, then recline

comfortably into a seating position.

Aihan paces back and forth.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I...understand your concerns."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "They are shared."

Kelfyr says, in Sylvankind, "This is a people who still can't understand our ancestors

deciding to stand up and walk away rather than continue to be corrupted by their

presences. Their dificulty in respecting our dead is not as shocking to me as it is the latest

in a line of cultural misunderstandings."

Meril cocks her head at Tiwlip.

Aihan nods at Kelfyr.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I was worried when I heard that this 'exhibit' was happening."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "But these people are not our enemies."

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "Yet."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "They are misinformed."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "If..."

Tiwlip pauses, taking a deep breath.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "If I told you something."

Sylthie raises an eyebrow.

You remove a wicker-framed fel canister from in your layered linen robe.

Tiwlip looks conficted.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "There are more of us."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "More than you know."

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "How can they, will all their supposed great scholars, not

have included any sylvans in the research or planning of this fasco? Surely someone who

have warned them of what they were doing."

Sylthie cocks her head.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "And we are here."

You gaze with interest at Tiwlip.

Gazing at Tiwlip, Kelfyr quirks his eyebrow in a questioning manner.

Tiwlip asks, in Sylvankind, "Have you ever wondered what happened to our leaders, after

the Veil?"

Tiwlip leans forward slightly.

Sylthie nods slowly.

Tiwlip quietly says, in Sylvankind, "They are coming."

Sylthie leans back.

Aihan blinks.

You will speak simply on your next message.

Aihan glances at you.

You simply ask, in Sylvankind, "How?"

Tiwlip shakes her head.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I can't say more, not yet."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "But they will soon make themselves known."

Felarion raises an eyebrow.

Kelfyr says, in Sylvankind, "I suppose we shall await them, as we have for many years."

You ask, in Sylvankind, "Not even to us?" She includes all in the group with a gesture, "You

cannot speak of these things?"

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "And among the many wrongs done to us over the long years,

this most recent slight will be settled."

Aihan asks, speaking concernedly in Sylvankind to Tiwlip, "The Veil remains in place, does

it not?"

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "It does."

Tiwlip holds a hand to her forehead, humming slightly.

You say, speaking soothingly in Sylvankind to your fel canister, "Patience. I will release you

to your home-hive soon, and call upon you again if there is need."

Aihan starts chuckling at you!

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I am Tiwlip, Novitiate Postulant of the Council Sylvisterai in the

Wild." [Much geeking out over someone else using sylvisterai!]

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "We are coming to bring you back into the fold."

Meril nods slowly.

Kelfyr smiles.

Aihan blinks at Tiwlip.

Meril quietly says, in Sylvankind, "So that is why you spoke as though you *knew* them,

despite seeming so young."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I have been blessed and cursed with many years."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I have seen our fall and our wandering and our rise."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "So be confdent that when I say we have nothing to worry about

from these..."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "Elves."

Tiwlip waves a dismissive hand.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "We will be rejoined to all of you, and you will not be alone

anymore."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "But this can't reach elven ears."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "Not yet."

Kelfyr says, in Sylvankind, "We've never been alone. Only apart."

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "Near kin. They are not -all- fools. Many are indeed

apostates, but some still have respect."

You say, in Sylvankind, "I am Fe'hala of the Tha'enaketh kinship. We are Lassaran, and

belong to the winds. I do not know what a coming will bring, but my heart and hands are

opened towards kin and kind."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "The winds will gather you in."

Aihan traces the lines of his whorl tattoo.

Aihan nods at Tiwlip.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I can't stay longer. I'm sorry. Please, do no violence though."

You surreptitiously glance at the fel canister in your hand.

You sigh heavily.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "Even though the desire to start fres is..."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "Understood."

Kelfyr says, in Sylvankind, "All will be rectifed in time. Thank you for telling us the hour

nears."

Sylthie ponders.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "Have patience for just a few days more."

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "I know well the value of patience and that knowing when

to strike is important as where."

Tiwlip nods.

Tiwlip turns, listening to something in the distance.

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I have to go."

You say, in Sylvankind, "A mere blink in the Now. A few days will pass in moments."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I'm sorry."

Tiwlip says, in Sylvankind, "I will fnd you all, soon."

Sylthie nods understandingly.

Tiwlip dashes of. You notice, as she departs, that her tangled mess of curls seems to

have...antlers?

Sylthie blinks.

You say, speaking surprisedly in Sylvankind to Aihan, "Did you notice--"

Sylthie rubs her eyes.

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "I will continue to play the part of the loud-mouth

ofended sylvisterai who wishes to seek restitution for their ofenses. Better to have their

eyes and ears focused on what they perceive to be the truth."

Aihan nods to you.

Aihan says, speaking quietly in Sylvankind to you, "Interesting."

Felarion says, speaking to Aihan, "Not on my behalf."

Felarion waves his hand in a dismissive gesture.

Felarion's group just wandered down a narrow cobblestone walkway.

Kelfyr grabs a spherical silver-threaded rivelyn from a concealed velvet-lined pocket inside

of his gabardine cloak.

Kelfyr vigorously rubs his silver-threaded rivelyn until it gleams.

You muse, in Sylvankind, "There was a portion of the desecration-- there were antlers upon

the man too; with a mithril mark. I assumed it was a headpiece."

Sylthie slowly empties her lungs.

Kelfyr says, in Sylvankind, "I look forward to our future assembly. For now, a good evening."

Kelfyr nods.

You hear very soft footsteps.

Meril looks lost in thought.

Sylthie just wandered down a narrow cobblestone walkway.

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "Huh."

You abruptly announce, in Sylvankind, "I do not like this place; a cultivated garden broken

by cobblestones. I will seek solace in the woodlands."

Meril nods slightly.

You say, speaking in Sylvankind to Aihan, "Find me when you are ready."

Gazing at Aihan, you quirk your eyebrow in a questioning manner.

Aihan quietly says, in Sylvankind, "This was never a place meant for us. It is -their- vision of

what they see us to be."

You turn to face Meril.

You kiss three fngers and touch them to your brow.

You perform a bow characteristic of the Lassaran D'ahranal before Meril.

Meril says, in Sylvankind, "These are many things even the Lassaran have forgotten, so be

not so hasty to blame the Illistim. Be well."

Meril clasps her hands in a reverent gesture.
