Editing Permissions
My permission is granted to change misleading/wrong information in the guide, as long as the replacement content is delivered under the "attempt to be as In Character as possible" theme.
I request that no new information be added to this guide without consulting me first as I created it with a very particular mindset. It is not meant to be an exhaustive guide, but an introduction to allow further exploration without extreme panic.
My permission is also granted to design the page to look better. Thank you for anyone that helps with this!

What is This Guide
This guide was my student graduation project when I joined the Mentors. I created it as an introduction to the Confluence to give confidence to those that have never been there before. It isn't meant to be exhaustive, but just an overview of some things to be aware of so the first experience is a positive one.
I also created the guide in such a way that it can be copy/pasted in game. I tried to keep it In Character as much as possible. When I created it I did so in a bit of a meshed "document / lecture" format.

The Mentor Event Itself

Out of the corner of your eye you spy a fire elemental shimmering its way towards Silverwood Manor. Odd. Why would elementals also be going to Lorekeeper Arianiss's introductory guide to the Confluence? 30 minutes until it starts...
Out of the corner of your eye you spy an earth elemental rumbling its way towards Silverwood Manor. Odd. Why would elementals also be going to Lorekeeper Arianiss's introductory guide to the Confluence? 15 minutes until it starts...
(Arianiss paces in front of you, clearly nervous, as he stammers, "Th..there's a lot of information to get through, so please hold questions and comments for now. I've schedu.. er.. there'll be some time for a Q and A session at th..the end. If you want to ask a question, please whisper to Cordelia so we can create a list to go through. Th..thank you." He smiles at Cordelia before nervously turning away to compose himself, brushing strands of hair behind his ear.)
Ithilwyn grins at Arianiss.
Ensayn grunts happily, grinning.
Meril tilts her head slightly, turning her attention to Arianiss. She regards him in a measured fashion, collecting her thoughts.
Leafiara takes a moment to observe Cordelia.
Cordelia waves.
Alifair grins.
Vaikhen smiles at Arianiss.
(Arianiss exhales slowly as a sharp, introductory music begins to play throughout the garden.)
Aethyra smiles at Cordelia.
(Arianiss tugs on his vest as the music crescendoes in energy and level, his foot starting to tap.)
(Arianiss quickly spins, all manner of nervousness gone as the music climaxes!)
Dwi heartily asks, "Wot if'n yer question gonna make ye burst?"
Crouching down low, Arianiss leaps agilely into the air and lands solidly on the floor, a ripple of dark emerald light expanding from his vultite-toed boots.
With a resounding growl, a sleek snow leopard made of dark emerald light bursts from the boots and stalks forward a few steps before pouncing, claws extended and teeth bared! It moves off into the distance and dissipates into an array of bright dark emerald motes that scatter into the air.
Dwi fidgets.
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"Welcome to the Confluence
It's not all fun and games"
(Arianiss sweeps his finger out to point at you, before trailing it to those next to you.)
Ravenfiery rubs Ensayn tenderly.
Leafiara casts her eyes upward, begging Tilamaire for guidance.
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"It's got everything you want
But you'll have to learn the plane"
Dwi grunts, amused.
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"We are the Lorekeepers that can teach
Whatever you may need"
(Arianiss grins at you as he dancingly strides across the area.)
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"If you've got the moxie, foxy
Stack up on your deeds"
Aethyra grins.
Ensayn gives a sidelong glance at Dwi.
Darkkstormmer rests a gentle hand on Siierra's arm.
Ensayn pulls the onyx-hued silk lined hood of his brown suede duster over his head, shadowing his face.
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"In the Confluence
Welcome to the Confluence"
(Arianiss raises the tone of his voice, his hair twisting wildly as he moves.)
Ensayn nods firmly.
Arianiss sings rollickingly:
"Watch it bring you to your
N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-knees...!"
(Arianiss falls to his knees, seemingly out of breath.)
Arianiss raises his fingerless gloves in triumph. Pure white flames leap from them into the air.
Arianiss petitions the spirits as flickers of pale flame surround his hands...
Arianiss gestures.
A flare leaves Arianiss's hand and shoots up into the sky where it hangs for a few moments before exploding into a shower of brilliant azure feathers. The sheer brightness of the image before you lingers in your sight for several seconds after the explosion can no longer be seen.
Arianiss pants.
Ithilwyn grins.
Arianiss pants.
Ordim briefly draws down the edges of his slate grey cowl.
Ordim takes a bite of his gingerbread cookie.
Vaikhen's jaw drops.
The fire dies down a bit until it finds some fresh fuel to burn. Then the flames dance higher as they feast.
Siierra smiles at Arianiss.
Leafiara turns to Arianiss and cheers!

Darcena laughs at Arianiss!
(Arianiss grins before smoothing out his clothing as the music fades and he starts to pace the area.)
A colorful flare rises into the air high above Wehnimer's Landing before exploding into a trio of exploding lotus blossoms that descends in spiraling crimson corkscrews.
Aethyra giggles.
Cordelia adopts an agreeable expression.
Arianiss excitedly exclaims, "I am Lorekeeper Arianiss Winterfox. Welcome, and thank you for attending my lecture on the Confluence!"
