CAMPAIGN PLATFORM FOR THE 5123 REGIONAL ENVOY CAMPAIGN OF TENNALNEN SILVERSTAR

CANDIDATE: Tennalnen Silverstar

CAMPAIGN MANAGERS: Tennalnen Silverstar

CAMPAIGN SLOGAN: A fresh face, a fresh perspective, and an open-mind.

PLATFORM

Slogan: A fresh face, a fresh perspective, an open mind.

A fresh face: I am new, unknown to many, and untried compared to my fellow applicants. I have not seen the dead rise during the reign of the Lich King. I did not stand beside or against Grishom Stone. I did not choose sides during the recent territorial disputes inside town. I have no history with the North, the East, or any of our other neighbors except Bourth where I was raised.

A fresh perspective: I have not lived here for long, and in my time in Wehnimer's Landing I have heard many views. I have listened to those varied voices and I have considered them. While I cannot claim to know which view is correct, I can provide an ear to listen, and a voice to speak their words to the leaders of Landing.

An open mind: My beliefs are my own, as are yours. This region is populated by a variety of races, cultures, and religious beliefs, not all of which can agree on things. I promise to listen, and pass along all views presented to me as representative of Wehnimer's Landing, with no judgement or biased towards those who present themselves appropriately. In my Official Duties I will have only one view, that of which is best for Wehnimer's Landing, and to a lesser extent the entire Region.

Vote Tennalnen Silverstar for Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing in 5123!

Stump Speech

Greetings to All, and thank you for taking the time to listen to my words.

I am Tennalnen Silverstar, originally from Bourth, but I now call this fair city of ours home!

I know many of you are asking yourselves, "Who is this young warrior who stands before us?"

I am a simple man. I was raised in Bourth by my mother, a schoolteacher, and my father, a soldier. I was raised to be fair, open minded, and kind to others, but my father also taught me the way of the blade. I have also spent two years serving with the Bourth Reserves before being released of my duties.

I have journeyed across the Turamzzyrian Empire, seeing many wondrous sights, and in all my travels I have never seen the Unity and Strength that I have seen in Wehnimer's Landing.

This is why I stand before you today. A fresh face, a fresh perspective, and an open mind. My one goal, if elected as Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing, is to provide a conduit for ALL peoples in the region to have their voices heard by the leadership.

With all the threats this town has seen, we must strive to strengthen our peaceful relationships with our neighbors, not only to the North and South, but East to Zul Logoth and the Elven lands, and West to Teras and the islands off the coast.

We must stand United against the evils we face daily, for we are stronger United!

Vote Tennalnen Silverstar for Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing! A fresh face, a fresh perspective, and an open mind!

Traiva stands up.
Traiva recites warmly:

    "Welcome everyone!"

Lithyia applauds.
Dendum turns to Traiva and cheers!
Kelfyr applauds politely.
Tikba applauds politely.
Traiva recites:

"House Paupers is pleased to allow Tennalnen time to speak about his candidacy for Envoy, and to answer any questions you may have."

Lithyia applauds you.
Lithyia grins at you.
You smile.
Stormyrain just arrived.
Lithyia nods to Stormyrain in greeting.
Stormyrain walks over to the wooden bench and settles down for a few minutes' rest.
Ancheska looks thoughtfully at Traiva.
Stormyrain inclines her head.
You nod in greeting at Stormyrain.
Kelfyr leans softly against Stormyrain.
Tikba smiles at Stormyrain.
Stormyrain smiles at Tikba.
Stormyrain joins Kelfyr's group.
Traiva recites:

"One of the Big Rules here at Paupers is to show respect for others.
We ask that everyone follow this rule, even if questions and discussion may get heated."

Lithyia nods at Traiva.
Ancheska nods in agreement.
Traiva recites:

"With that, I give the Garden to Tennalnen."

Lithyia says, "If you dont follow the rules, i have to kill you...with a knitting needle."
Traiva smiles at you.
You nod appreciatively at Traiva.
Lithyia smiles.
Lithyia applauds you.
Traiva takes a few steps back.
You recite:

"Thank you all for coming. I first want to explain a bit about my perception on the Regional Envoy position. This election is for Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing, a two year term wherein two Envoys will be representing this town on a global scale. This is not simply a messenger, but a pair of individuals who will be representing Landing in negotiations, speaking directly to the leaders of other groups in the region and finding common ground to strengthen our ties."

Tikba gazes respectfully at you.
Ancheska takes a bite of her mixed fruit kabob.
Lithyia turns an inquisitive ear toward you.
You recite:

"Working together we can strive to resolve our issues peacefully, but only if we already have an established method of communication. An envoy should be able to listen to the views of others, and judge how the Landing would proceed, then work together with the Landing and the third party to find mutually acceptable terms. An envoy should act with the best interest of Landing at heart, but all the while remaining diplomatic."

You recite:

"At least, thats how I view the position, but as our previous envoy has been...less than forthcoming as to the specific duties of the job, we shall see how things shake out with a new Mayor and new Councillor elections next month. And now, the real reason why you all have gathered here, my campaign speech!"

You stride a few steps forward.
You clear your throat.
You recite:

"Greetings to All, and thank you for taking the time to listen to my words."

You recite:

"I am Tennalnen Silverstar, originally from Bourth, but I now call this fair city of ours home!"

Tikba smiles at you.
You recite:

"I know many of you are asking yourselves, Who is this young warrior who stands before us?"

Lithyia grins at you.
You survey the area.
You recite:

"I am a simple man. I was raised in Bourth by my mother, a schoolteacher, and my father, a soldier. I was raised to be fair, open minded, and kind to others, but my father also taught me the way of the blade. I have also spent two years serving with the Bourth Reserves before being released of my duties."

Lithyia takes a drink from her sweet cream shake.
You pace back and forth.
You recite:

"I have journeyed across the Turamzzyrian Empire, seeing many wonderous sights, and in all my travels I have never seen the Unity and Strength that I have seen in Wehnimer's Landing."

You confidently stride a few steps forward.
You recite:

You recite:

"Vote Tennalnen Silverstar for Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing! A fresh face, a fresh perspective, and an open mind!"

You nod appreciatively.
Sweeping your arm outward, you bow low in a grand fashion.
You ask, "Thank you for hearing me out, now does anyone have any questions?"
Lithyia applauds you.
Lithyia takes a drink from her sweet cream shake.
Tikba applauds.
Lithyia glances at a thick frosted glass mug in her hand.
Ancheska casually glances around the area.
Traiva applauds politely.
Kelfyr takes a drink from his bottle of beer.
You glare.
You say, "Sorry if I spoke quickly."
You blush a nice shade of light pink.
Lithyia winks at you.
Tikba grins at you wryly.
Stormyrain smiles at you.
Tikba says, "Do not fear."
Lithyia folds her hands in her lap.
Grutak glances at Tikba.
Traiva glances around the area.
Traiva says, "If no one else has a question..."
You fold your hands behind your back, waiting patiently.
Grutak says, "I do."
Grutak says, "Several."
Lithyia chuckles to herself.
Lithyia smiles.
You nod once at Grutak.
Speaking graciously to Grutak, Traiva says, "Please, go first."
Ancheska says, "As do I but perhaps you shall ask it for me."
Speaking to Grutak, you ask, "The first?"
You listen carefully to Grutak.
Ancheska smiles at Grutak.
Speaking to you, Grutak asks, "You speak of the Islands to the west. I am curious if that includes the Krolvin on Glaoveln?"
Grutak says, "In the intent to extend a hand of friendship..."
Speaking to himself, Dendum muses, ""One could say Glaoveln is more like north by north west..."
Lithyia grins at Dendum.
Ancheska takes a bite of her mixed fruit kabob.
Lithyia helps herself to some cheesy garlic-crusted flatbread.
Lithyia takes a bite of her garlic-crusted flatbread.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "That is ultimately up to the leadership of Landing. I have heard the talk up north of the dangers to the Island, and while I hold no sympathy for Krolvin, the half-krolvin and slaves on the Island should be considered. However, it would be up to the town and its leaders how I would proceed."
Lithyia takes a bite of her garlic-crusted flatbread.
Kelfyr takes a drink from his bottle of beer.
Grutak says, "I see..."
Grutak asks, "So you see the position of Envoy as a functionary of the council and not a leader in it's own right?"
Tikba looks thoughtfully at you.
Lithyia nods at Kelfyr.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "Yes. and no. I see it as the middle man in negotiations. The person who attempts to find mutually acceptable solutions to the problems at hand, but ultimately my power extends from the government of the Landing and the People of the Landing."
Grutak asks, "What is your position on the Empire?"
You say, "It still requires some leadership ability, to know when to walk away from a deal that cannot be salvaged."
Yardie glances at Grutak.
Ancheska agrees with Grutak.
Lithyia takes a bite of her garlic-crusted flatbread.
Tikba grins wryly at Kelfyr.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "Personally I am from Bourth. I hold no ill will towards to Empire itself. While the empire has brought trouble in the past to the area and beyond, the Emporer and Earl Jovery has always been a staunch friend and ally."
Dendum starts to snorfle, but suddenly turns purple and erupts into a coughing fit!
Lithyia glances at Dendum.
Lithyia takes a bite of her garlic-crusted flatbread.
You glance at Dendum.
Lithyia dusts off her hands.
Tikba reticently smooths and straightens out the organza fabric of her surplice.
Lithyia folds her hands in her lap.
Grutak asks, "Last question. Would you support a Free North against the Empire?"
Stormyrain raises her eyebrow, the bloodjewel half-ring set within only enhancing her skeptical expression.
You rub your chin thoughtfully.
Ancheska takes a moment to observe you.
Speaking to Grutak, Yardie teases, "We gonna get a turn?"
Lithyia chuckles to herself.
Lithyia quietly says, "I need a real drink now."
Lithyia glances at a silver-traced carved mahogany cart.
Lithyia pours herself an icy cold bottle of beer.
Speaking to Yardie, Grutak says, "Out of respect I won't tell you to shut your mouth."
Lithyia sighs.
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Lithyia looks rather relaxed.
Traiva clears her throat.
Ancheska smiles quietly to herself.
Speaking to Traiva, Grutak says, "I was polite."
Grutak says, "I didn't say it."
Ancheska laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.
Grutak grins.
Speaking to Grutak, Yardie says, "Out of respect, you can say it. I just won't follow it."
Lithyia gazes up into the heavens.
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "I would support whatever path forward the people of Landing ultimately decide."
Ancheska takes a bite of her mixed fruit kabob.
Grutak nods to you.
Grutak says, "Thank you."
Yardie glances at you and raises his hand.
You say, "Although personally I do not wish war upon anyone. Period."
You turn to face Yardie.
You nod at Yardie.
Ancheska takes a bite of her mixed fruit kabob.
Speaking politely to you, Yardie asks, "I know you mentioned stepping down or something of the sort to devote attention to Envoy. How can we trust your loyalties to the town and not other individuals or factions should you be elected?"
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Speaking to you, Yardie says, "The town is untrustworthy, so...we'd hope for some sort of aboveboard manner."
Tikba gazes in amusement at her surroundings.
Tikba nods understandingly at Kelfyr.
Lithyia leans softly against Grutak.
Stormyrain folds her hands in her lap.
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Stormyrain casually glances at Yardie.
Ancheska takes a bite of her mixed fruit kabob.
Kelfyr takes a drink from his bottle of beer.
Yardie glances at Stormyrain.
Grutak removes a bleached skull jug with a sinew-hinged leather lid from in his onyx oilcloth greatcloak.
The fungus clinging to Dendum's hewn juniper crook lets out a sudden puff of russet spores.
Grutak takes a drink from his skull jug.
Grutak looks rather relaxed.
Yardie politely says, "I said what I said."
Lithyia chuckles to herself.
Speaking to Yardie, you say, "My only loyalties are to this town. I did in fact have to resign from the ORder of the Silver Gryphons to run for this position. Though I did so in order to hopefully serve the town in a higher capacity."
Stormyrain whispers something to Yardie.
Stormyrain smiles at Yardie.
Speaking to Yardie, you say, "I am also a member of the Militia, and House Phoenix."
Tikba nods approvingly to you.
Grutak nods at Lithyia.
Lithyia smiles at Grutak.
Tikba taps an etched militia badge that she is wearing.
Speaking curiously to you, Yardie asks, "So, you think it's possible to maintain work as an Envoy without the role of Militia and justice playing a part?"
Speaking to Yardie, you say, "My hope is to one day become a true Knight of the Landing, and that means I hold myself to standards above the normal. Honor, Respect and Duty are traits I hold dear."
Stormyrain raises her hand.
Tikba surreptitiously glances at Stormyrain.
Speaking to Yardie, you ask, "Appologies, I am a bit tired, might you rephrase the last question?"
Grutak takes a drink from his skull jug.
Ancheska takes a moment to observe Yardie.
Tikba grins wryly at Kelfyr.
Speaking to you, Yardie asks, "Can you maintain your role of Envoy without being swayed by other positions?"
Dendum idly turns his hewn juniper crook in his hand, glowing russet spores drifting downward.
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Kelfyr takes a drink from his bottle of beer.
Traiva takes a drink from her chilled peach nectar.
Ancheska folds her hands behind her back.
Tikba raises her hand.
Speaking to Yardie, you say, "I would, or I would resign from whatever position conflicts with duty as Envoy, as I did with the Order. This town holds a special place in my heart, and as Envoy I would be working towards bettering it."
Ancheska sighs.
Yardie glances at Ancheska.
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
Lithyia looks rather relaxed.
Speaking to you, Yardie says, "Noted."
You gaze at your surroundings.
You glance at Tikba.
Traiva raises her hand.
Tikba politely says, "I believe the Marshal was before me."
You nod understandingly at Tikba.
Stormyrain smiles.
You turn to face Stormyrain.
(Tikba politely motions towards Stormyrain.)
You ask, "Marshall?"
Speaking in Sylvankind to you, Stormyrain asks something you don't understand.
Stormyrain squints.
Stormyrain clears her throat.
Speaking to you, Stormyrain asks, "If I might share one thing before I ask my question? Related to Yardie's last question about your role in the militia?"
You smile.
Town Councilor Kayse just arrived.
You nod once at Stormyrain.
Dendum stands up.
You nod in greeting at Kayse.
Kayse nods to you in greeting.
Tikba smiles at Kayse.
Ancheska turns an inquisitive ear toward Stormyrain.
Kayse nods briefly at Tikba.
Stormyrain offers, "If someone in the militia is elected to a position, they are put on a leave for the entirety of their term. This allows for a balance of power within the town."
Lithyia takes a drink from her bottle of beer.
You nod understandingly at Stormyrain.
Kayse pours herself a diamond-cut tumbler of rich amber bourbon.
Speaking to you, Stormyrain asks, "As to my question for you, the next election is for Council members; may I ask why you opted to run for Envoy instead of for the Council?"
You rub your chin thoughtfully.
You say, "A good question."
Lithyia turns an inquisitive ear toward you.
Yardie says, "On leave."
Speaking to Yardie, Stormyrain says, "Not an active part of the militia. Under no responsibilities therein."
Kayse grins slowly at Stormyrain.
Kayse takes a drink from her rich amber bourbon.
Kayse looks rather relaxed.
Yardie carefully asks, "Well, I mean, don't have to be in the milita to work for them, no?"
Yardie pours himself a tankard of Pauper's brew.
Yardie takes a drink from his Pauper's brew.
Yardie looks rather relaxed.
Speaking quietly to Yardie, Dendum remarks, ""With much respect is the Stormyrains turn to ask questions."
Lithyia chuckles.
You say, "I did not think I would make a good Councillor, I have not been in the town for long and I have no real idea as to what would be the best way forward in a lot of different situations. What I am good at is listening to people, hearing their thoughts or concerns and trying to find solutions that benefit everyone."
Speaking to Dendum, Yardie says, "You're right, of course. And much nice than the other one."
Traiva clears her throat.
Stormyrain nods understandingly to you.
Kayse looks thoughtfully at you.
Traiva takes a drink from her chilled peach nectar.
Slowly, the petals of Dendum's flower close, hiding the vibrant center from view. After a moment, they open up again with a soft sigh.
Slowly, the petals of your flower close, hiding the vibrant center from view. After a moment, they open up again with a soft sigh.
You say, "Thus I chose the more diplomatic option of envoy."
Lithyia quietly says, "I think their flowers like one another."
Lithyia glances between Dendum and yourself.
Stormyrain smiles at you.
Stormyrain nods understandingly.
You rub your chin thoughtfully.
Stormyrain says, "Thank you."
You nod appreciatively at Stormyrain.
You glance at Traiva.
Dendum sniffs the air and smiles faintly, seemingly enjoying the scent. You can't be sure, but it seems like his flower is sniffing the air, too.
Stormyrain whispers something to Yardie.
You point at Tikba.
You peer quizzically at Traiva.
Traiva nods to you.
Tikba grins at you.
You nod once.
Traiva says, "Tikba, and then me."
You turn to face Tikba.
Traiva smiles.
You nod understandingly at Traiva.
Tikba politely says, "My question is merely out of curiosity."
Stormyrain folds her hands in her lap.
You listen carefully to Tikba.
Tikba asks, "It must have been difficult for you to leave the Gryphons for this election, since knighthood is your goal. Will you seek to return to them after your service as Envoy?"
You ponder.
Ancheska appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Speaking to Tikba, you say, "I would, but I also know it may not be possible. While my hope is to become a Knight, I also wish that knighthood to be tied into this town, and not based upon an oath to the Empire."
Tikba looks thoughtfully at you.
Dendum beams!
Tikba nods thoughtfully to you.
Dendum says, "Knights of the North."
Lithyia grins at Dendum.
Kelfyr asks, "Could I follow up on that?"
Tikba says, "That is a difficult path, then. I wish you good luck."
You say, "The Order was originally formed to provide a class of Knights and nobles in the Landing to counter the claims of Hochstib."
Tikba nods encouragingly to you.
Kelfyr glances at Traiva.
Traiva nods at Kelfyr.
Kelfyr asks, "Would that be ok? A quick follow-up?"
Kelfyr says, "Thanks."
Speaking to you, Kelfyr asks, "Does that imply the creation of a feudal system of title within the structure of the democratic governance specific to the town? And if so, who would have the oversight to select knights?"
Tikba appears to be struggling to keep a straight face as she glances at Kelfyr.
Speaking to Kelfyr, you say, "I would ultimately like to see an Order of Knights strictly goverened and directed by Wehnimer's Landing. It does not imply a fuedal system of governance."
Kelfyr says, "Knighthood is a feudal role, is it not? I may misunderstand the intent there."
Speaking to Kelfyr, Grutak says, "Think more along the lines of rank rather than government."
Ancheska agrees with Kelfyr.
Kelfyr says, "Just as our former mayor was the son of a landed noble who gave up his role to serve here."
Tikba nods in agreement at Kelfyr.
You nod in agreement at Grutak.
Grutak says, "The Vaalorians use the same concept."
Speaking to Grutak, Kelfyr asks, "Rank implies service, structure, and fealty. Fealty to whom?"
Speaking to Kelfyr, Dendum remarks, ""The landing."
Speaking to Kelfyr, you say, "I am not as informed about Thadstons activities, I have only met the man once."
Kelfyr nods to you.
Tikba politely notes, "The Vaalorians have a king."
You point at Dendum.
Kelfyr agrees with Tikba.
You say, "What he said."
Lithyia chuckles.
Kelfyr says, "Thank you."
Speaking to Tikba, Grutak says, "The Knights, squires and commanders do not have royal blood."
Tikba nods politely at Grutak.
Kelfyr nods at Traiva.
Kayse folds her wings across her back.
Dendum asks, "Why does one need a noble to have metal clad warriors who defend ideals?"
Lithyia helps herself to a bunch of champagne-soaked grapes.
Tikba amusedly asks, "Why indeed?"
Speaking to you, Traiva says, "I have been asking this question of all Candidates..."
Speaking to Tikba, Grutak says, "That's why it's not fuedal. In a fuedal system the knights, dukes, earls, what not, generally have some relation to the Monarchy."
You nod at Traiva.
You gaze at your surroundings.
Lithyia takes a bite of her grapes.
Lithyia chokes briefly on a bunch of champagne-soaked grapes, her face puckering as she swallows.
Lithyia winces.
Tikba looks thoughtfully at Grutak.
Lithyia glances at a bunch of champagne-soaked grapes in her hand.
Lithyia dusts off her hands.
You turn to face Traiva.
Kayse looks thoughtfully at Lithyia.
Lithyia agrees with Kelfyr.
Lithyia quietly says, "They were a bit...much."
Traiva asks, "As part of the role, you are to speak on behalf of the Landing government to other governments. What do you do if the Landing Council and/or Mayor ask you to share their message regarding something you feel is wrong or immoral?"
Lithyia blushes a nice shade of dark red.
Dendum appears to be checking his pockets for something, but finds them empty.
Dendum slips a roughly hewn juniper crook caught with mycelium filaments into one of the bearskin weapon loops secured with jade buttons sewn inside of his buckskin jacket. A trail of bistre particles quickly disperses.
Dendum collects a ko'nag clasped pouch from a large compartment inside the grey leather case.
Lithyia just handed Dendum some coins.
Lithyia grins at Dendum.
Dendum reaches into his ko'nag clasped pouch and removes some silver coins.
Lithyia winks at Dendum.
Dendum plops a ko'nag clasped pouch into a large compartment inside the grey leather case.
Stormyrain just left.
Dendum draws a roughly hewn juniper crook caught with mycelium filaments from one of the bearskin weapon loops secured with jade buttons sewn inside of his buckskin jacket. A trail of shimmering bistre fungal particles showers from it, slowly floating away.
Grutak takes a drink from his skull jug.
Grutak looks rather relaxed.
Speaking to Traiva, you say, "First I would attempt to convice them to change their minds, depending on the scenario. If it becomes clear that the orders will stand regardless of my attempts to dissuade them, I would be forced to resign. That does not mean I would work against those people, but I would strive to always do what is in the best interest of the Landing and its people."
Grutak put a bleached skull jug with a sinew-hinged leather lid in his onyx oilcloth greatcloak.
Tikba looks thoughtfully at you.
Traiva nods slowly.
You say, "If the people choose a council who desire to burn down the world, I cannot stop them, but I do not have to participate."
Lithyia nods to you.
Tikba grins at you wryly.
Kelfyr scratches at his mustache.
Grutak says, "Silence is aquiecense."
Dendum raises his hand.
Kayse lightly says, "Luckily that hasn't happened yet."
You turn to face Dendum.
Lithyia sarcastically says, "Well it IS the Landing so...."
You say, "I think we have time for one or two more questions."
Lithyia attempts to hum a merry little tune.
You blush a nice shade of light pink.
Speaking to Dendum, you say, "One moment."
Speaking to Traiva, you ask, "Did you have a follow up?"
Traiva says, "No, that is it."
You nod once.
You turn to face Dendum.
Swept from Dendum's hewn juniper crook, a hazy, bistre mass rife with radiant spores whips about in a brief uptick of wind.
Speaking to you, Dendum asks, ""The landing fractures under the weight of the empires move north, there is little left of solidarity between this group and that group...militia and rook...council and mayors office...merchant and worker....does the Tennalnen see a role in Envoy in healing this or will it mostly be talking to Cysegir about the price of bread and Brisker's Cover about the flow of spices?"
Tikba gazes in amusement at Dendum.
Ancheska looks thoughtfully at Dendum.
Grutak raises his hand.
Speaking to Dendum, you say, "I see the Envoy as the person who will mostly deal with outsiders. Internal town matters will most likely fall under the new Mayor and Councillors duties, where the Envoy will be tasked with working on the other people of the Region."
Dendum nods once.
Speaking to you, Dendum remarks, "Given lack of clarity on this no answer is wrong or right it would seem."
You correct, "Working with the other people. Not on."
You blush a nice shade of light pink.
Lithyia smiles.
You nod understandingly at Dendum.
Speaking to Dendum, you say, "Once all the Elections are finalized, I am sure we will all find out just exactly what this job will entail."
You grin.
Lithyia grins at you.
Ancheska raises an eyebrow.
Tikba grins at you.
Grutak glances at you.
Kelfyr folds his hands in his lap.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "I believe you are next."
Dendum starts chortling.
Grutak asks, "If the Free North were to put a fleet to sea blockading Gloavln from the east and shelling it's harbors, would you advocate for the Landing to do the same on Glaovln's southern ports? Effectively pushing them west and north toward Ruin Creek?"
Grutak peers quizzically at you.
Dendum starts chortling.
Lithyia raises an eyebrow.
Tikba gazes in amusement at her surroundings.
Ancheska glances up.
Kelfyr takes a drink from his bottle of beer.
Ancheska inclines her head.
Ancheska just went out.
Speaking to Grutak, you say, "I suppose that would depend on the situation. If our two towns agree upon that action, I would advocate for it, but as it would mostly be a military decision, I doubt I would have much say as Envoy."
Grutak says, "I see."
Traiva takes a drink from her chilled peach nectar.
Kayse takes a drink from her rich amber bourbon.
You glance between Kayse and Lithyia.
Lithyia smiles at you.
You ask, "Did either of you have a question?"
Kayse raises an eyebrow in your direction.
Kayse says, "I am here to observe."
Lithyia says, "I do not. Just here to show support for you my friend."
Lithyia smiles at you.
You nod once.
You nod appreciatively at Lithyia.
A grizzled porcupine, apparently sated from some recent meal, passes a paw over his whiskers in an effort to tidy up.
You ask, "Did anyone else have any questions?"
You gaze at your surroundings.
You nod once.
Sweeping your arm outward, you bow low in a grand fashion.
Tikba applauds politely.
Traiva applauds you.
Grutak put a dragonfly etched vultite no-dachi in his threaded war harness.
Kelfyr applauds you politely.
You recite:

"Thank you all for coming out and hearing my speech"

Lithyia applauds you.
Dendum leans on his crook.
Traiva recites:

"Thank you for taking the time this evening, Tennalnen."

Kayse applauds.

Application for Town Council

(Note: 2 answers were changed after initial application to remove affiliation with The Order of the Silver Gryphons as I was forced to resign in order to run for Envoy)

What does Wehnimer's Landing mean to you?

Answer one
Wehnimer's Landing is the front line. A frontier city that has stood against all threats and overthrown them. It is a beacon of safety and strength in an otherwise hostile location.

What do you feel you can bring to Wehnimer's Landing, if serving as a Regional Envoys?

Answer two

I hope to provide a fresh face, a fresh perspective, and an open minded view that attempts to provide a conduit for the peoples in the region to speak up regarding their circumstances and work towards stronger regional ties.

What are the goals you would like to accomplish for Wehnimer's Landing? How would you do this?

Answer three

I have one goal, to hear the voice of the people of the region, and deliver it to the leadership of Wehnimer’s Landing. I also hope to expand our regional ties with our neighbors, not only to the North and South, but east to Zul Logoth and the Elven lands, and west to Teras and the islands off the coast.

Describe your approach to building good rapport and relationships, and why strong alliances are important?

Answer four

My stratagem will be simple. Make myself available to the variety of peoples in the region, listen to their words and requests with neutrality, and present their requests to the leadership of Wehnimer's Landing. The region is torn with monsters, and enemies, from within and without, and stronger alliances with our neighbors can only serve to strengthen ourselves.

Describe your connection to Wehnimer's Landing, your history with the town and its people, and why this makes you the best choice for Regional Envoy?

Answer five

I cannot say I would be the best choice, as “best” is a relative term, I simply ask to be considered for this role and have the people decide. I first walked these streets in 5120, and was received with open arms. After a short time I was recalled to Bourth, yet upon my return earlier this year I was again greeted with warmth and welcome. I am a member of The House of the Rising Phoenix, and a member of the Landing Militia. My history may be short, but this city has a strong grasp upon my heart, and I can only hope to do my best to fulfill my duties if I am elected.

Do you belong to any organizations, inside or outside of Wehnimer's Landing?

Answer six

I am a member of The House of the Rising Phoenix, and a member of the Landing Militia. I am also a Master in the Order of Voln, and a Guildmaster of the Warriors Guild.
