Their unique abilities, deep-rooted traditions, and unwavering commitment to preserving the balance of the sea make them an integral part of the wonders and mysteries hidden beneath the waves. Though they remain elusive to most, their presence echoes through the deep, a reminder that the ocean holds secrets far beyond what the surface world can imagine.

Materials and Alterations

Flora
There are limitations on the use of the plant-life as these are not common to the oceans and waterways of Elanthia. They will not grow outside of the depths around Laeqithe and must be provided for all alterations. They are not suitable for private properties, props, foraging props, or any other item that would indicated they are growing or that can be harvested. Please use the guide below for usage:

• Glasstide Rose ~ The rose itself can be gathered in Laeqithe and used in the weaving system to make items. They will not shimmer and glow when not in their natural habitat, but remain clear. They can however be dyed (by a merchant) into almost any color. These flowers must be provided in amounts appropriate for the alteration requested.

• Aelvara Tree ~ The Aelvara Tree is sacred to the acqsael. Harming the tree in any way would sever relations between their people and the outside world. These may not be used in alterations.

• Glassthread Vines ~ These vines are able to be harvested and grow in abundance around the cities of the acqsael. They will continue to shimmer with iridescent hues and reflect the surrounding light after gathered. They will not hold a dye, but can be used with the weaving system. Any part must be provided in amounts appropriate for the alteration requested.

• Moonkelp ~ These plants cannot be used in the weaving system and are protected by the acqsael as an important part of their ecosystem. These may not be used in alterations.

• Coralspine Ferns ~ The coralspine ferns is commonly planted around sacred sites and are not open for harvesting. This plant may not be used in alterations.

• Tideblossom Anemones ~ Due to the protective nature of these plants, it would be difficult to harvest any of the blossoms. It would trigger their natural protections and compromise the security of the acqsael's home. The acqsael have on occasion harvested the blossoms. If one were to aquire these rare flowers, they would need to be provided for any alteration.

• Shaleflare Moss ~ While purposly cultivated on sacred sites, this moss is common in the wild. It can be harvested, but once outside of the ocean water it will lose its glow. They can be used in weaving projects and should be provided for any alterations.

• Spindleleaf Algae ~ This algae grows in abundance and can be harvested and used in weaving projects. They should be provided for any alterations.

• Lunebloom Coralweed ~ These flowers are common in the reefs around Laeqithe. They come in any shade of bright color you can imagine. They have never been seen in shades of black, brown, or grey. Their unique scent can be crafted into perfume and once they are plucked, they can be used in any weavings. Outside of the sea waters, they will not release clouds of glowing spores. They should be provided for any alterations.

• Aelvashade Bloom ~ These large blossoms grow in specific shades of deep azure, iridescent teal, soft violets, pearlescent lavender, and a rare shade of misty silver that only blossoms during the full moon. They can be used in weaving projects and should be provided for any alterations.

Fauna
All of the sea creatures can be found in the waters around Laeqithe. They would not be found outside of this area and should not be put in aquariums or have "fishies" altered into them. They would not thrive outside of their habitats.

The scales of the fish listed would be able to be used in alterations as they would be common, but the scale would need to be provided in reasonable amounts for the item being crafted.

The eel and ray skins can be used to craft small items and shoes and boots, but would need to be provided.

Gems and Materials
All of these items are rare and must be provided.
