Wikipedia[1] is the web site from which Krakiipedia partly derived its name. Wikipedia, in turn, derives its name from the terms "wiki" and "encyclopedia". The website is hosted by the MediaWiki Foundation, which also is the group that wrote MediaWiki, the software which made Krakiipedia possible.
