Gender Bracelet

Gender Bracelets are tiered wrist-worn jewelry introduced at Ebon Gate 2010. Their roleplay messaging changes according to the wearer's perceived gender. The item must be worn to use its scripted verbs. Tier 1 The off-the-shelf tier. It provides four verbs whose messaging varies according to perceived gender. Analyze This is a gender bracelet. The messaging is slightly different depending on if the wearer is perceived as male or female. Alterations are fine, but it must remain a piece of wrist-worn jewelry that is reflective and jangly. This item is off-the-shelf tier and can be unlocked. You could POKE, PULL, RUB, and TURN the bracelet. Usage Verb Perceived gender First Third POKE Male You tap a single finger on your <bracelet> in a rhythmic pattern. XXX taps a single finger on his <bracelet> in a rhythmic pattern. Female You tap a single finger on the top of your <bracelet> in a haphazard pattern. XXX taps a single finger on the top of her <bracelet> in a haphazard pattern. PULL Male You grasp your <bracelet> between your thumb and forefinger and move it back and forth. XXX grasps his <bracelet> between his thumb and forefinger and moves it back and forth. Female You take your <bracelet> between your thumb and forefinger and work it back and forth. XXX takes her <bracelet> between her thumb and forefinger and works it back and forth. RUB Male You nonchalantly rub your hand along the underside of your <bracelet>. XXX nonchalantly rubs his hand along the underside of his <bracelet>. Female You pensively rub your hand along the underside of your <bracelet>. XXX pensively rubs her hand along the underside of her <bracelet>. TURN Male You absentmindedly toy with your <bracelet>, tugging lightly at the clasp. XXX absentmindedly toys with his <bracelet>, tugging lightly at the clasp. Female You nervously toy with your <bracelet>, tugging lightly at the clasp. XXX nervously toys with her <bracelet>, tugging lightly at the clasp. Tier 2 The first unlock adds KISS and PUSH. Historically, this tier could be unlocked by any Ebon Gate merchant. Analyze This item is unlocked once and can be further unlocked. You could KISS, PUSH, POKE, PULL, RUB, and TURN the bracelet. Usage Verb Perceived gender First Third KISS Male You lift your wrist to your mouth, taking the side of the <bracelet> between your teeth for a moment. XXX lifts his wrist to his mouth, taking the side of his <bracelet> between his teeth for a moment. Female You lift your wrist to your mouth, running the side of the <bracelet> over your lip for a moment. XXX lifts her wrist to her mouth, running the side of her <bracelet> over her lips for a moment. PUSH Male You clasp one hand over the top of the other, covering your <bracelet> almost entirely. XXX clasps one hand over the top of the other, covering his <bracelet> almost entirely. Female You run your fingers across your wrist, subtly covering your <bracelet> almost entirely. XXX runs her fingers across her wrist, subtly covering her <bracelet> almost entirely. Tier 3 The final unlock adds NUDGE and RAISE. Analyze This is a gender bracelet. The messaging is slightly different depending on if the wearer is perceived as male or female. Alterations are fine, but it must remain a piece of wrist-worn jewelry that is reflective and jangly. This item is fully unlocked. You could NUDGE, RAISE, KISS, PUSH, POKE, PULL, RUB, and TURN the bracelet. Female You lift your hand into the air, shaking your wrist slightly to create a subtle jangle from your <bracelet>.
