I've heard so many different people say different things about lightening and whether you lighten first or deepen first for the best overall effect. Can anyone shed light on this for us here? Thanks -Soliere [[User:FIRENSIA|FIRENSIA]] ([[User talk:FIRENSIA|talk]]) 18:28, 19 April 2020 (CDT) |

:I performed testing on this for my own purposes using two identical knapsacks with a capacity of '''110lbs''' and a weight of '''8lbs'''. The first I deepened first, using pink and blue notes until it reached the maximum of '''200 lbs'''. Then I used yellow notes to lighten, and it accepted two yellow notes, taking the weight down to '''6lbs'''. The second knapsack I lightened first, and it accepted three yellow notes taking it to '''5lbs'''. I then deepened it using the same combination of blue and pink notes to reach '''200lbs'''. The end result was knapsack #1 turned out '''200lb''' capacity at '''6''' weight. Knapsack #2 turned out '''200lb''' capacity at '''5''' weight. - I performed testing on this for my own purposes using two identical knapsacks with a capacity of 110lbs and a weight of 8lbs. The first I deepened first, using pink and blue notes until it reached the maximum of 200 lbs. Then I used yellow notes to lighten, and it accepted two yellow notes, taking the weight down to 6lbs. The second knapsack I lightened first, and it accepted three yellow notes taking it to 5lbs. I then deepened it using the same combination of blue and pink notes to reach 200lbs. The end result was knapsack #1 turned out 200lb capacity at 6 weight. Knapsack #2 turned out 200lb capacity at 5 weight. Lighten first!GSROGUE (talk) 18:43, 19 April 2020 (CDT)
