Thin strips of sinew are threaded through lengths of canvas and stretched between carved wooden poles that create the framework of the shelter. Bits of rope are wound about the supports and are adorned with various carved ivory charms. Centered in the small space is a large stand crafted from several racks of antlers.

On the antler stand you see: a bronze-edged vultite contus with sinew wound shaft, a rough vultite contus with a carved oak shaft, a gold inlaid vultite lancea bound with leather cords, an etched vultite lancea wraped with embossed hide, a jagged vultite fuscina set with steel spikes, a barbed vultite fuscina etched with a bog orchid, a bronze-inlaid vultite hasta spiked with curved talons, a jagged vultite hasta with a leaf-etched haft, an etched vultite verutum with an ivory-inlaid shaft, and a copper-inlaid vultite verutum with an etched maple shaft.
