Oxilen is a type of wool taken from arctic oxen.
Obtained by taking the downy soft underwool of arctic oxen, oxilen in its natural form is fluffy, light, and almost has a lint-like quality to it. Once woven into string, its hue is very dark and added dyes typically produce deep, rich colors but never light ones.
