Interference causes the lesser spirits in the area to interfere with the target's offensive and defensive abilities. A successful warding with Interference will apply a base 15 spiritual target defense (TD) penalty, increased with training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning, as well as a penalty to attack strength (AS) equal to 15 + 1 for every four levels of the target and a penalty to defensive strength (DS) equal to half the AS penalty.

Lore Benefit
Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning increases the imparted penalty to a target's TD on follow-up spiritual warding spells at a rate of 1 per seed 5 summation of ranks.
