The Forging Gouge was originally released at Ebon Gate festival Evermore Hollow 2022 in the shop The Gouged Heart. Regardless of tier, this item has limited uses/charges (25) and as of November 2024 the clear resin to recharge STILL can't be purchased. Rumors have been confirmed; the item can be recharged by a willing merchant NPC. Newer rumors suggest they are now PERM-ifier-able.

This tool currently works with bugs, birds, and sea critters.
