Whax doll accessories are designed to be worn on assembled and glued Whax dolls, allowing for various forms of customizations with a wide variety of found or purchased accessories available at the Delirium Manor Gift Shop and occasionally at other festivals or pay events. Whax doll accessories include basic features, such as hair and eyes, as well as worn and held items.

Individual accessories are suitable to be worn only on specific parts of a Whax doll. ANALYZE will show where each accesory will fit on the doll.

Once an accessory has been put on a Whax doll, it cannot be removed. However, a new item can be put over an unwanted item, causing the unwanted item to be destroyed. Each doll accessory can also be given to one of the wandering NPCs inside of Delirium Manor for general tickets. (NPCs also occasionally get kicked out of the Manor to the free-to-access grounds.)

Accessories cannot be altered. Custom accessories can be made from existing items using accessory molds, which allow for creation of doll-sized versions of existing clothing or other items. Accessory molds come in two varieties: square molds are capable of creating doll-sized versions of items crafted of more common materials, while rectangular molds are capable of doing the same for items made of rarer materials. The duplicate item created from the clay will always be "a doll-sized <item>", but the original item's description is stored for the doll. This can be seen when LOOKing at the copied item. Once placed on a doll, "doll-sized" is dropped.

Some Whax doll accessories are also compatible for use with a Quee Potato.

Doll Accessory

Whax doll accessories include basic features, such as hair and eyes, as well as clothing and held items. Whax doll accessories were created for use with Whax dolls, however some are also comaptible for use with a Quee Potato. Accessories cannot be altered, however custom accessories can be acquired via accessory molds, which allow you to create doll-sized versions of existing items. Accessories can be stored inside of an accessory case.

Once an accessory is put onto a Whax doll, it cannot be removed again. A new accessory can be placed over top the existing one in the same slot, destroying accessory being replaced in the process.

Accessory Mold

Accessory molds allow for creation of doll-sized versions of existing clothing and other items, suitable for use with a Whax doll from Delirium Manor. As Whax doll accessories at cannot be altered, these molds allow for more customized items. GM Haliste created a square mold of clay and a rectangular mold of clay that can be PUSHed with a target item in hand to create a copy of the desired item to use as a Whax doll accessory.

Square molds of clay are more common and can create a doll-sized version of an item made of more common materials. The rectangular mold of clay is a more advanced form of the square mold and can be used to copy any material. Users of square molds cannot copy an item containing any material classified as rare.

The duplicate item created from the clay will always be "a doll-sized <item>", but the original item's description is stored for the doll. This can be seen when LOOKing at the copied item. Once placed on a doll, "doll-sized" is dropped.

Whax doll accessory molds are single use and will be destroyed as part of the process of creating the resulting Whax doll accessory.

Analyze

You analyze your square mold and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This mold will create a miniature (non-scripted, if applicable) duplicate of a held item. If the item is not a wearable item, (ie: a weapon or some other held item) then it will be created as an item for the left/right hand. TURN the copied item to switch it between hands.

Some items may be crafted from materials too rare to be copied by the mold. Front-worn items and undershirts are ineligible for copying.

Miniature duplicates created by the mold are *only* usable on Delirium Manor dolls. After you create a miniature replica, LOOK at the item to see what it will look like when added to your doll.

You get no sense of whether or not the mold may be further lightened.
You analyze your rectangular mold and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This mold will create a miniature (non-scripted, if applicable) duplicate of a held item. If the item is not a wearable item, (ie: a weapon or some other held item) then it will be created as an item for the left/right hand. TURN the copied item to switch it between hands.

All materials are eligible for copying with this mold. (Tier 2) Front-worn items and undershirts are ineligible for copying.

Miniature duplicates created by the mold are *only* usable on Delirium Manor dolls. After you create a miniature replica, LOOK at the item to see what it will look like when added to your doll. One your duplicate is created, it will be called a "doll-sized whatever", but once the accessory is attached to your doll, it will have the full description of the item you copied.

To use a rectangular mold of clay, hold the item to be copied in your left hand and the mold in your right hand, and PUSH MOLD.

You get no sense of whether or not the mold may be further lightened.

Usage

Verb First Third
PUSH
(initial)
You are about to create a doll-sized duplicate of a glowing shadowglass phylactery. While the full description of the miniature replica will be stored, the created item will appear only as a "doll-sized <noun>", but once the accessory is placed on an appropriate doll, the description will appear as the original item. LOOK will show you the stored description.

If you are sure you want to do this, please repeat your command within 15 seconds!
This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
PUSH
(confirming)
Holding a square mold of clay securely in your hand, you press your shadowglass phylactery firmly against the pliable material, which transforms into a miniature replica of your phylactery. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!

Accessory Case

Whax doll accessory cases come in three tiers, with tier increases allowing a case to store more Whax doll accessories inside of it. Off the shelf cases can hold up to 20 parts or accessories. A Tier 2 case can store up to 30 doll parts and accessories. A Tier 3 case can store up to 50 doll parts and accessories. Unlock waivers to increase capacity were available by searching through the manor. One example of the Tier 2 unlock certificate is a white-bordered red parchment, and one example of a Tier 3 unlock certificate is a gold-bordered red parchment.

Accessory cases have a hard-coded LOOK/SHOW description. Cycling between the different trays in the accessory case via TURN will cause the currently selected item to be featured in its LOOK. Once an accessory has been placed inside, it can be removed after selecting it via TURN and then using PULL.

Analyze

The creator has also provided the following information:
This case will store collectible doll pieces and accessories from Delirium Manor. Charged cores and glued dolls will not fit inside the case. Alterations are fine as long as it remains a belt-worn box-type container. No sacks, satchels, bags, etc.

Use TURN to rotate through the trays, and use PULL to remove an item from the selected tray.

This case is Tier 1, and it can hold up to 20 different doll parts and accessories without taking up precious storage space! However, please note that if you REGISTER your item, accessories and parts stored inside will NOT be saved/recorded. You must REGISTER those items separately, before placing them inside your container. Despite any messages below, this item cannot be lightened or deepened.
Verb First Third
PULL You carefully reach into your case and remove some forest green brigandine from its holding tray. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
PUT {ITEM} IN CASE You rotate through your case's and find an empty tray. You place some forest green brigandine securely within your case. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
TURN Gears within your doll case whir softly as a tray stamped with the words "some forest green brigandine" rotates around a slender axle and moves to the top. Pieces rattle around as the tray settles into place. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
