The lorgnettes on top of the bookshelves are less ornate than the ones inside, but both function the same. The stuff in the footlocker opens and closes a little more fancier than usual. Except the haversack, I just thought it was pretty. Absolutely none of the goods in this alcove were filched, stolen, or misappropriated. It's not my fault if people leave their luggage lying around unattended for long or short periods of time. They ought to know better!
