Dead is a status condition in which one has suffered a fatal critical injury or lost all health points.

Most verbs will not work while you are dead, after all you are only a ghost! You can still SAY and THINK to communicate with others and try to find help.

Dead characters can be brought back to life by a Cleric using the Raise Dead (318) spell, or Paladin using Divine Word (1640). On Teras Isle, Dead Man's Pale ale may be used when a cleric is not available, but the ale will not work in any other region.
