Hi there, UBERWENCH. I'm reaching out to you as you are the most recent person to have updated the old [[Faendryl Symposium/2015|Faendryl Symposium]] article over the past few years. As part of a larger overhaul of what are now classified as [[:Category:GM-led events|GM-led events]], the old article has been updated to new in-process standards. The end result is that it now mirrors how Free Festivals are set up, with a larger category for the entire event and individual subarticles for each year. I recognize that only the Faendryl Symposium's inaugeral year falls under the GM-led events umbrella due to the Faendryl Enclave continuing the event as a [[:Category:Player-run events|player-run event]]. What this means for you is that the way that the links to the Faendryl Enclave's website for each year looks a little different, however all of that information is still there. While '''not''' at all required, ''if you choose to utilize this new format on the Gswiki'', you could certainly create a subarticle for this year as [[Faendryl Symposium/2025]] or a similar format for future/past occurrences of the event. It's also perfectly fine to just continue updating the running list of events and link back to the Faendryl Enclave's website. That list is now on the [[:Category:Faendryl Symposium|Faendryl Symposium category]], to which the old [[Faendryl Symposium]] article is now set up as a redirect. It's also perfectly fine to continue using the [[Faendryl Enclave]] article for its schedule and event information; this is just another option that is now available to you. If you do ever choose to utilize the Gswiki for past or future Faendryl Enclave-run Symposiums in this way but are not quite sure what to do, please feel free to reach out to me or another moderator and we would be happy to help with that process. Hello, UBERWENCH. As part of a series of updates to older storylines archived on the Gswiki to current style guide standards, I ran across a vignette that is attributed to your account and character that was originally posted to the wiki on the [[:Category:Clipped Wings|Clipped Wings]] storyline category. The original text was added to the [[:Category:Clipped Wings|Clipped Wings]] storyline category prior to current [[Gswiki:Policy]] standards regarding character pages and current [[Gswiki:Style guide]] standards for character vignettes. It was originally posted on the old forums at http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Cities,%20Towns,%20and%20Outposts/Mist%20Harbor/view/2142 and then archived onto the wiki in 2020. There is no apparent statement that you gave another account permission to post the vignette to the Gswiki on your behalf, however this was done prior to that requirement being in place. After consulting with the GM wiki team, I have moved it as an effort to preserve grandfathered information and am also notifying you of this as a courtesy. It can be accessed at [[Lylia (prime)/Brimstone and Ink]]. If you no longer wish the vignette to be on the wiki, you simply have to edit it and add in <nowiki>{{delete}}</nowiki> at the top of the article to request that a Moderator delete it on your behalf, plus add a note to the vignette's [[Talk:Lylia (prime)/Brimstone and Ink|Talk page]] stating that you no longer want it on the wiki. Faendryl Symposium
Hi there, UBERWENCH. I'm reaching out to you as you are the most recent person to have updated the old Faendryl Symposium article over the past few years. As part of a larger overhaul of what are now classified as GM-led events, the old article has been updated to new in-process standards. The end result is that it now mirrors how Free Festivals are set up, with a larger category for the entire event and individual subarticles for each year. I recognize that only the Faendryl Symposium's inaugeral year falls under the GM-led events umbrella due to the Faendryl Enclave continuing the event as a player-run event. What this means for you is that the way that the links to the Faendryl Enclave's website for each year looks a little different, however all of that information is still there. While not at all required, if you choose to utilize this new format on the Gswiki, you could certainly create a subarticle for this year as Faendryl Symposium/2025 or a similar format for future/past occurrences of the event. It's also perfectly fine to just continue updating the running list of events and link back to the Faendryl Enclave's website. That list is now on the Faendryl Symposium category, to which the old Faendryl Symposium article is now set up as a redirect. It's also perfectly fine to continue using the Faendryl Enclave article for its schedule and event information; this is just another option that is now available to you. If you do ever choose to utilize the Gswiki for past or future Faendryl Enclave-run Symposiums in this way but are not quite sure what to do, please feel free to reach out to me or another moderator and we would be happy to help with that process. Character Vignette Moved
Hello, UBERWENCH. As part of a series of updates to older storylines archived on the Gswiki to current style guide standards, I ran across a vignette that is attributed to your account and character that was originally posted to the wiki on the Clipped Wings storyline category. The original text was added to the Clipped Wings storyline category prior to current Gswiki:Policy standards regarding character pages and current Gswiki:Style guide standards for character vignettes. It can be accessed at Lylia (prime)/Brimstone and Ink. If you no longer wish the vignette to be on the wiki, you simply have to edit it and add in {{delete}} at the top of the article to request that a Moderator delete it on your behalf, plus add a note to the vignette's Talk page stating that you no longer want it on the wiki.
