Stalwart Resilience

Stalwart Resilience, more often called bubble flares by players due to the messaging, is a type of scripted flare applied to weapons, runestaves, or UCS gear that bestows damage padding to the wielder when the flare activates. The padding effect will last 60 seconds but can be refreshed if the weapon were to flare again within that time window. The padding level of the flare is a set value anywhere from 1 to 50 combat effectiveness rating, or CER, at the time the flare is added to the item. It stacks with any padding on the wielder's armor. Stalwart Resilience was released at Ebon Gate 2008 by the merchant Slawgruf and was described as "being similar to stone skin," and was also available at Return to Coraesine Field. The service has been done in varying levels of padding, including heavy, very heavy, and masterful. When the service has been done at a phenomenal level of padding it has been referred to as "super bubble flares," and the messaging is different. In May 2018, after Commencement of Coraesine Forest, the script was updated to indicate the level of padding provided in the loresong. Additional Information Combat Messaging The messaging on the activation differs slightly between the two levels, and is one way to distinguish them. Regular Bubble Flares If the padding level is set to a CER of 1 to 34, the flare will have the regular messaging below. Super Bubble Flares If the padding level is set to a CER of 35 to 50, the flare will have differing messaging shown below.
