Lamplight casts a soft glow across the interior of the sprawling tent, where violet canvas panels meet niveous ones in sweeping drapes overhead. Pale rugs in varied textures are scattered across the packed earth, muffling footsteps. Along the walls, carved wooden racks and padded stands display an array of gear sized for bears, including harnesses, layered fabrics, polished fittings, and ornate tack, each arranged with care beneath the gentle shimmer of hanging lanterns.

Partitioned by a drape of heavy violet canvas, the backroom is quieter than the entry room of the shop, its corners touched by the steady glow of low-burning lamps. Niveous shelves line the walls, holding spools of dyed leather, bolts of thick fabric, and shallow trays filled with polished metal fittings. A central worktable bears signs of recent use, with chalk markings, loose threads, and measuring cords strewn across its surface. The air carries the scent of wax, wool, and well-oiled hide.
