Black alloy is an extraordinarily rare metal, notably used in weapons.

In the ICE age, black alloy was a combination of iron, titanium, and meteoric "star metal". Black alloy by itself had no magical properties.
* Per GM Netz on 10/1/2022 lesser transmutation to black alloy will add acid flares to the item.

Black alloy is the result of attempts to tame urnon's unruly shape shifting ability without the need for wizardly intervention. Through the introduction of a curse, in the form of black ora, urnon's shape shifting ability can be neutralized and its form fixed into place. Fortunately, if properly blended, the resulting alloy retains urnon's ability to release corrosive acid during combat, making it ideal for smelters who cannot tame urnon in any other way.

Black alloy is an extraordinarily rare metal, notably used in ShadowDeath weapons.

In the ICE age, black alloy was a combination of iron, titanium, and meteoric "star metal". Black alloy by itself had no magical properties.
