Korthyr Faendryl was the leader of the House Faendryl at the end of the reign of the Drakes. He and the leaders of the other six elven houses led the elves out of the forests, creating the Elven Nations. He became the first Patriarch of the Faendryl, and began construction of the city of Ta'Faendryl. He died before it was completed.
Korthyr Faendryl was the nephew of Tahlad Tsi'shalar, and the great uncle of his Khalar Andiris Faendryl.
Korthyr Faendryl was succeeded by Khalar Andiris Faendryl, Patriarch II of House Faendryl.
