A glass vial is sold in different forms (chipped, thick, etc.) in the town alchemist shops and is used to remove troll's blood or sea water from small crystal flasks.
Glass vials are also required to collect troll blood to make crimson salt crystals.
Vials can be emptied without pouring into something else using TURN (verb).
