Illthorn is a rare, large aromatic tree with grey bark and star-shaped leaves with five or seven points. The bark of the tree has narrow ridges that conceal long, sharp thorns that carry a mild poison. The wood is mostly used for items that aid in warding magic, yet is not elastic enough to be used to craft a bow. Illthorn typically grows in the Gyldemar Forest.
