| Faded walls of lavender and amethyst silk provide a backdrop to a series of ivory-framed portraits, the pictures dotted in-between pillars of chipped white marble. Situated at the center of the room is a circular etched glass case displaying rich furs between the dirty surfaces, while several long pastel candy boxes showcase jewelry on stiff lace doilies. A large filigree-set mirror sits at an angle along the western wall, the web-like cracks of the panes casting odd distorted images of the room beyond. | |
