| The red and orange tiles from the west give way to a mix of black and ivory diamond patterns, leading up to a dark fel bar along the eastern end. Colorful tapestries line the perimeter of the room, covering the walls in a wash of yellow, orange and green. Sprouting from between the wall hangings at regular intervals are tall red candles in copper sconces, while a pair of large braziers hang from the ceiling, dispensing an overbearing musky odor into the air. You also see a copper sign tacked to the wall. | |

| The noise of the rotunda is drowned out by the roar of a gigantic roaster at the far end of the ceramic-tiled room. Between turns at the fire, a trio of Tehir women chop vegetables and prepare small doughy pockets upon makeshift tables to either side of the pit. | |

| Torchlight streams down, set near the clerestory windows at the base of the squat, semi-circular dome above. The red and orange swirl-patterned tile floor blends into a continuous alternating design of blue and ivory chevrons, just a few feet from the archway leading east. Four rows of ivory columns fill the area, ending at a broad patchwork yierka-hide curtain across the back wall. In the center of the room is a long buffet table, containing a variety of desserts. | |
