A character that is silenced cannot talk or prepare spells. This can be caused by the Silence (210) spell, the Cutthroat combat maneuver, and the Throat Chop Cheapshots maneuver.
Characters silenced via Cutthroat may eat aloeas stem or another similar herb to be able to speak again.
