I should mention that the "Curse of Kabis" source book is considered non-canonical in Shadow World, but it was ideal for aligning the story to both timelines by explicitly relating it to Lornon. It is more likely that the Broken Lands was supposed to refer to the Loremaster theory that the Dark Gods escaped from some inter-dimensional prison, due to the disruption of an extra-planar comet, which would be why the story calls it a natural portal to another plane of existence. There is no reason these cannot be the same prison plane, it is just that the Kabis book was published in 1995. INIQUITY (talk) 16:48, 5 September 2015 (CDT)
