Subject: Bug Fix to Familiar Gate
Please be aware that I have just released a bug fix to Familiar Gate that has fixed a very old bug.
Wizards will now find that their portals will no longer allow groups of infinite size to pass through. Gates will now utilize a skill check to determine what number of people will fit before the portal destabilizes.

If the wizard leads the group, they will be warned that there are too many in the group to get through.
The skills involved are Wizard Spells known and Elemental Mana Control.

Only the wizard who cast the portal and leads the group will have an idea of the size limit of their own portal.
The portal will handle a certain number of people up to the caster's ability.
It does not matter which direction they are going or how they are grouped. As soon as that number of people step through, or the original caster steps through, the portal will close.

It's definitely broken. The formula for additional people is very generous. With 100 Wizard spell ranks and 100 ranks of Elemental Mana Control, it will allow up to 24 people.
