Blue Phoenix Pub

Blue Phoenix Pub is a food shop in Wehnimer's Landing. It is located in the Hendorian Outpost (#445) in the Grasslands of Lower Dragonsclaw. To enter the Blue Phoenix Pub, GO GATE, GO PORTCULLIS, GO TAVERN.

Grey brick walls comprise the foundation of the spacious tavern, where oak tables and chairs are set up around the common area. A plump boar is set near a large red brick fireplace, the roaring flames roasting the pig and warming the tavern. Mounted on a far wall is a huge silver tapestry depicting the image of a rising blue phoenix. From behind a brass-railed countertop, a scar-faced bartender pours drinks for the guests. You also see a scuffed wooden stage, some painted blue wooden stools and a silver-blue dart board.

Inventory

On the brass-railed countertop you see a glass of blackberry liqueur, a glass of oak leaf wine, a flask of clove-scented cider, a fried wild boar's ear, a trencher of baked raccoon, a tankard of red wheat beer, a burnt red potato, a mug of cinnamon coffee, a fried oatcake, a glass of Thurbon's Bourbon, a cup of ocotillo tea, a flask of sweet water, a glass of blackberry liqueur, a loaf of round bread, a bowl of mutton stew, a goblet of Winter Witch brew, a flagon of Searswathe ale, a tall mug of Glissando's Grog, a wide mug of Gorge Grog, a bottle of cold blueberry rum, a bowl of sugared porridge and a plate of salted lake trout.

All of the food is free to the public.

LOOK BARTENDER

Large and muscular, the giantman's head is more square than round. Thick peppered black sideburns frame his brick-shaped face, while dozens of scars stretch across his skin like faint webbing. A dirty white rag is thrown over his shoulder, and he nods to each guest who passes by.

You can talk to the bartender and ask him questions.

ASK BARTENDER ABOUT TAVERN

The scar-faced giantman nods and says, "I once ran a tavern in Barrett's Gorge, before it was overrun by the demonic scourge during the War of Shadows. But, as fate would have it, I survived, and found a new home in Hendor, and now here, in the Outpost. The Gorge is better now, but I think I like it here just fine."

ASK BARTENDER ABOUT NAME

The scar-faced giantman nods and says, "My name is Old Brick. I'm happy to be runnin' my own tavern again, and it doesn't seem Wehnimer's Landing has any shortage of people lookin' for a good meal and drink."

ASK BARTENDER ABOUT SCARS

The scar-faced giantman nods and says, "I got these scars protectin' a little girl named Abi, when the Scourge made it over the Demonwall, back in Barrett's Gorge. Sadly, she perished during the War of Shadows, which is half the reason I'm far north now. But no matter how much I try to forget, these scars won't let me."

ASK BARTENDER ABOUT GROG

The scar-faced giantman nods and says, "Aye, try some of our grog. We have two choices. Many think the Gorge Grog is the best, while many others think Glissando's Grog is the best. Hell, some can't even tell the difference."
