Brightly colored awnings sway and flutter in the transient arctic breezes, the ropes that anchor them to nearby support posts creaking and groaning when they pull against their bindings. White picket fences stretch along the east and west, forming an encircling pen in the thick blue-green grasses of a rolling glade. Small mounds of stubborn snow cling to the footings at the entrance gates.

Stretching northward, a long column of white picket fences departs from the central viewing area of the pens towards the entrance gates where clumps of snow still cling to the blue-green grass. Colorful awnings of bright yellow, red, and green provide shelter from the elements, though they still sway when the arctic breezes pass through. Along the southern section are three pens filled with roltons, sheep, and goats.

Overlapping one another, bright yellow triangles of canvas provide shelter to the wedge-shaped pen that is filled with blue-green grass and grazing sheep. White picket fencing keeps the ovine denizens from wandering away, while baskets of sweet grass hold their attention. Bells strung from green and red ribbons mark the entry gate, which leads back to the central viewing area of the glade. You also see a fluffy cream sheep, a plump cream ewe, a thin cream tup and a sleek off-white ram.
