Occupying most of the exterior wall, a large bay window rimed in hoarfrost at its corners offers an unobstructed view of the winter wonderland beyond its panes, while pendant lanterns dangling from the exposed-rafter ceiling create a soft glow throughout the space. Tables and mahogany chairs are scattered throughout the area, their mahogany bodies arranged in social circles upon amber and niveous area rugs. A long counter stands before an archway leading to the kitchen, its surface covered in enticing offerings.

Keeping the entire shop toasty and warm, an enormous fireplace occupies one entire wall of the kitchen and is filled with dozens of brick-lined baking alcoves. Opposite, gleaming pot lids hang upon the wall amid various skillets, pots, and pans that are hung from simple iron hangers. A long preparation counter, complete with a soapstone wash basin, rests near an archway leading into the shop, while a staircase topped with a niveous wool runner disappears into the owner's private quarters.
