A small niche has been carved into the trunk of the tree, and a thick sap oozes slowly down the bark, pooling where the makeshift platform meets it. Flimsy wooden guard rails flank the walkway, bending out and around a small stand manned by two aelotoi children. You also see a platform leading away from the tree.

In the oozing sap you see: a large sap-covered grasshopper, a fuzzy black and brown caterpillar, a big shiny black beetle, a handful of tiny black ants, a dark sappy clump of aphids, a shriveled warty brown spider, some thick slimy slugs, a long brown worm, a shiny black cricket, a fat indigo dung beetle, a powdered brown moth, a large green dragonfly, and a small grey damselfly.
