The tower that houses the River's Rest Museum is indicative of the local island culture. Blue barrel tiles cover the roof of the stucco tower. Pigments mixed into the stucco give the tower a soft orange tint that is reminiscent of boiled crab claws. A graceful arched doorway leads into the tower.
