I don't think mentioning Rolemaster in a non-ICE Age article adds anything to it. VANKRASN39 (talk) 13:55, 27 February 2016 (CST)

It's an article on DB, which is an ICE-age term. It seems odd to me not to mention (at least in passing) where DB comes from. PFLATS (talk) 08:56, 28 February 2016 (CST)
I would put it at the end in a Behind the Scenes section. As someone who doesn't know anything about Rolemaster, I think if I came into this page knowing absolutely nothing, I might think I'd have to learn about Rolemaster, too, in order to know the game. But that's not true, and honestly I don't care that it did come from the ICE Age, it is the letter D and B from defense and bonus put together. That doesn't have to necessarily come from anywhere. But Defensive Bonus and DB item are OOC ice-age terms. They did come from Rolemaster; neither defensive bonus being an uncreative name nor not caring where it came from doesn't change that fact. The items were called DB items because they were items that boosted your DB. If they came out for the first time now, we'd be calling them DS items, because they boost your DS. Regardless, I don't care enough one way or the other about the article; go ahead and move it to a behind the scenes section. PFLATS (talk) 10:46, 28 February 2016 (CST)
