Solhaven Arms is the weapon shop in Solhaven. It is located in Solhaven in North Market SE.
[Solhaven Arms] | RNUM: 12815 |
Polished wooden cases line the room, containing a wide assortment of weapons. Echoing through the shop is the sound of a hammer striking metal. A stocky Dwarf stands nearby, smiling to herself. You also see the weaponsmith Marsaena, a wooden sign, a wooden counter with some stuff on it and a narrow stairway. |

North Room
[Solhaven Arms] | |
This small side room is crowded with racks of two-handed weapons and polearms. That ubiquitous penchant for avoiding the logical has manifested itself here: of course the main room has the small weapons in it, and this closet is stuffed with weapons that you couldn't even heft in here. You also see a the clerk Gormsahk and a silvery-blue roiling fog-filled chamber. |
Welcome to Solhaven Arms! The clerk Gormsahk offers his catalog to browse. Gormsahk exclaims, "Greetings stranger, have a look around!" Catalog ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. a bastard sword 10. a halberd 2. a flail 11. a Hammer of Kai 3. a flamberge 12. a javelin 4. a greataxe 13. a jeddart-axe 5. a greatsword 14. a lance 6. a military pick 15. a pilum 7. a quarterstaff 16. a spear 8. a war mattock 17. a trident 9. an awl-pike

Marsaena
A hint of a smile plays at the corner of Marsaena's mouth, matching the sparkle in her eyes and giving her the appearance of being suprisingly good-natured for a dwarf. Likely she either truly enjoys her work, has been imbibing, or both. Large for a dwarf of either gender, Marsaen has the build and the practical garb one might expect of one who has either worked on or with weapons all of her life.
"Any new sorts of weapons that show up, expect us to sell them here," boasts Marsaena. "That doesn't mean we'll sell fancy-named stuff, just honestly unique weapons. Whatever we call a weapon, that's what it is."
"Come in! Come in!" invites Marsaena. "Take a look around. If you don't see what you like, just ask. Of course, I won't answer you, but ask anyways. It'll make you feel better," she concludes with a huge wink.

Marsaena smiles as she goes through the motions of readjusting the weapons on display.
