The Plume and Glove

The Plume and Glove is the boutique shop in Ta'Illistim. It sells a variety of gloves, hats, belts, and other assorted wares.

The four walls are each comprised of floor-to-ceiling mirrors, casting reflections back upon each other and leaving no angle out of view. A throw rug in the middle of the floor, a pair of flanking leather armchairs and a small table laden with shop samples all appear duplicated over and over. Even the arched doorway leading in and out of the shop appears copied. You also see Maldaye.

Ambient Messaging

A young elven man stops briefly in the doorway, attempting to pay his respects to Maldaye.  She, however, pays him no need and he soon departs, crestfallen.

Maldaye adjusts the fingers of her gloves.

Maldaye gives you a polite, but distant, smile.

Maldaye's skirts rustle as she moves.  With a gloved hand, she smoothes out a crinkle in the fabric.

Maldaye stands in the doorway, looking idly out into the street.

Maldaye surreptitiously examines her reflection in the mirror.

Maldaye tap tap taps her fingernails against the back of an armchair.

Maldaye toes the throw rug in the middle of the floor, nudging it back into place with the pointy tip  of her slipper.

The locket around Maldaye's neck jingles slightly.  She puts a hand to it, stilling the sound.

With a tiny pout of irritation, Maldaye rearranges the samples on the table.
