Lunadriel, Luna to her friends, was born in a Lassaran Trading Town called Calima Taurë near Wehnimer’s Landing. Her mother had a vision just before her birth that Luna would not find peace in the town, so she wanted to make sure Luna could take care of herself. She named her daughter Lunadriel, Moon Maiden in the Common Tongue, as she expected her to be as mercurial as the moon, and Lunadriel did not disappoint. Luna’s mother was a wizard of repute, she trained Luna to be proficient in the magic arts, something that Luna took to well. Her father was a warrior, he taught her how to keep fit and understanding of herbs and first aid. When she was ready, and her mother fashioned her luck charm, her father gave her a puma fur harness, and told where Wehnimer’s Landing was. On arrival, a dark grey sprite landed on her shoulder and showed her around Landing a bit, and helped her catch a criminal, help a young warrior, help a young woman, and kill a cave worm. She then said remember her and gave her a mirror with the name “Xufyye” engraved. She then listened to a warrior explain the ways and customs of Landing and adventuring.

After delivering many messages and enjoying some conversation and food with several people in the Town Square, a grizzled warrior caught her attention and explained the Order of Voln. She thought this was a noble pursuit and took it upon herself to rid the catacombs and graveyards of the Undead. In between, she enjoyed food, drink, and general merriment as much as she could. She also found an affinity with fire and began to seriously delve into the lore of fire. She took the last name of Naurmahta, meaning Flame Wielder in the Common Tongue, and would often use flame to burn down her enemies.

While she followed Imaera as did her family, and her community, she felt a certain extra attachment, often finding affinity with various wildlife. During a trip to Solhaven, however, Luna’s faith was cemented. She went on a tour of Imaera’s Grove and Eonak’s Alter of the Smith. She decided, once she completed her duty to Voln, she would go to Solhaven. That would be her home.

Until she had a dream, where Imaera seemed to tell her about Caligos Island and the plight of its wildlife, and to find Her Warden. She went to the Island, found the Warden, and started collecting as many of the wildlife as possible, mixed with some shopping, she had to do some shopping, even at the end of the world. After saving the animals, she received a gift from Imaera, a beautiful bracelet formed from gold, jade and the native ghezyte, a material formed in undersea volcanos, the gold and other materials overwhelm the symbol of Ghezresh, something she finds humorous, and indicative of her Lady’s might. Imaera told her, trough the bracelet, leave the island at once.

Luna is a lover of wildlife and a lover of life in general. She is deadly serious when casting magic in combat, but otherwise, seems whimsical. She likes to hum to herself when casting simple magics, skip around town, and try to bring a smile to people’s faces. She tends to drink hardy when she drinks, enjoys excellent food, and excellent company. Her general outlook in life is simple; live each day like it’s your last. Eat well, drink deep, laugh and love deeply.
