Gifts of Atan Irith

[Gifts of Atan Irith - 8209104]
The noise of the outside world seems to fall away within the confines of this simple, serene tent. Amid walls of unadorned raw silk, runestaffs hang on display from a simple teak rack and a series of bamboo hooks hanging from the tent's ceiling. Beside the runestaffs, a finely inked parchment calls your attention. You also see an unfinished cypress pedestal and a silk flap leading deeper into the tent.
Obvious exits: out
a finely inked parchment
In the Common language, it reads:
Great pains have been taken to breed the wonderful specimens that we are once again privileged to offer here. Though they are born in calamity, these staves' nature is a gift to us all. They are all equal in magic, but limited in how much their appearance can be changed.

The two dawn surita runestaffs on the pedestal are equal in ability to the other staves offered (according to their price) but have less non-functional personality.

Prices in raikhen.

On the cypress pedestal you see: an ebon dawn surita runestaff with prominent goldenrod streaks, a dawn surita runestaff streaked with vivid crimson striations, a pristine rice paper certificate, and an intricate rice paper voucher.

Gifts of Atan Irith, Backroom

[Gifts of Atan Irith, Backroom - 8209105]
A petrified tree stump and a long ashen branch dominate this otherwise sparse section of the tent. Gem-like objects shine in the reflected light atop the white stump's surface, while glittering jewelry dangles off the branch. A small notice affixed to the tent's wall near the stump calls your attention. You also see a flap leading out of the backroom.
Obvious exits: none
a small notice
In the Common language, it reads:
The precious pieces of agita atop the stump are a gift of the surita, its crystalized sap forever preserved in beauty. Use these rare gifts for adornments, with the understanding that they cannot be drilled, bored, or reshaped in any way without destroying them. The jewelry hanging from the branch are elothrai, specially designed to flaunt the agita.
