Flare Affinity is a subscript that boosts the effectiveness of weapons with ability slot flares. Weapons with flare affinity will have their flares fire more often. Flares that deal damage will also receive 4 bonus critical ranks, delivering a critical between rank 5 and 9 inclusive.
The flare rate increase of the Flare Affinity sub-script does work in conjunction with the flare rate increase of the Supercharger items and BOOST SUPERCHARGE login reward.
The increased frequency is the same as Item Superchargers. The increased potency causes all the flares to be rank 5-9 (before padding, resistance, randomization, etc).[1]
